Ash composed herself. Sure Jake was gone and most likely wouldn't come back but that didn't mean she could mope around. On the opposite side of the room sat two crutches. She lowered heedlessly out of the bed and hopped over to the crouches, sure pain came with each step but that's exactly want she needed. Once she reached the crutches she used them to walk out into the hall.
