Wesley smiled. For a moment it seemed as though he had lost his grip on the branch, but flipped at the last moment, perhaps showing off a bit and perhaps simply having fun, and landed safely on his feet. "The mansion is this way."

"What a marvelous idea. I must invite you to my estate later." Alexander said with a smile. "Thank you for the kind guesture."

He nodded. "The mansion is for people a lot like you. You're different, aren't you? You can do... things... that most people can't?" Wesley clearly already knew, but he was trying to be polite.

"A man of well meas such as us usually are capable of many things." Alexander said as he ruffled his shirt a bit. "Oh Mr. Cross, send the coach back. Appears I'll be staying elsewhere. For now." A gruff voice grunted and and seemed to walk away. "Man of few words he is, bless him." He said as he walked.

"Sometimes being of few words means that there are countless words swirling in his head at once, complex ideas forming and ever changing, but few are perfected enough to find their way out of his mouth."

"Fascinating conclusion...he does seem like the resourceful type." Alexander said with a yawn. "Suddenly I find myself lacking in rest, we've been traveling by coach for a while...approximately how great is the distance between us and your esteemed mansion?"

I nodded, "Yes, that is certaintly possible. But we still need someone to pull you in and out of the X-mens base."

"I know" Jennifer said

"Very well."

'Sorry,' she mouthed to Demos, 'I tried to get out of it, or at least to get near the school.' She doubted her attempts had worked and was afraid of what he might do if she tried again.

"About six or ten miles, but they go by quickly the more company you're traveling with," he answered with an encouraging smile on his face.

Alexander laughed and smiled. "Wise words indeed. Good company always makes time pass by beautifully. Seems time for a good song...where is my bard?...hmmm...oh well." He added with a shrug. "Oh wait there." He clapped his hand and nodded. "How about...Flur Elise? Should go wonderfully with your viola." He smiled as a dull but crisp version of the song played, although clearly sounding. "Delightful traveling music would you say?"
