Steven walked out to the football field and sat downon the bleachers next to a red hair girl who scooted away from him when he did and glared. Her nails turned black and sharp like talons and she growled at him her fangs growing. Steven stood up holding his hands up "Alright I'll go sit somewhere else. Calm down." he said before putting his hands in his pockets and walking away from her and down to the field. He looked around for a new place to sit.

Ty glared at the X-men boy tell he was off the bleachers then she relaxed and moved so she was laying on her back. She grew a long blood red monkey tail and used it to cover her eyes as the sun came out from behind a cloud.

"About eight miles," I shrugged. "N-not really that far to walk. I-it's only sixteen miles both ways." I'd had to walk much farther than that.
