John sat on his little hunters perch he had set using twigs and some rope. He set it up so you could only see him from right in front of him, but he could see you long before then. It over looked a clearing and a small sub frozen river. He looked threw the scope of the rifle to try and spot any remaining game. He carefully huddled him self closer and slowly moved his scope over as he caught sight of movement in the trees. He reached over with his other hand to adjust the scope and bring it to focus on the object. As the object slowly took shape his first thought was Sasquatch. His second thought was Sasquatch jerky. Only when he fully focused the scope did he gasp when he saw it was in fact a girl(Rosa) walking threw the woods. He was a good hundred yards away so she wouldn't see him so for now he decided to just sit and watch her.

Rosa had made it to the river, it wasn't that wide of a river. She carefully stepped onto the ice, she breathed out a sigh of relief, "Thank goodness...." She whispered. She walked to the middle of the river when she heard a crack. She stopped in her tracks and looked down, she gulped and slowly slid to the side. She grabbed the heavy bag and turned, her back to the way she was going. She used the moment of turning to give it extra power as she threw it far enough to land just below John. She got on her hands and knees and made her way across the ice, every so often she would hear a crack and think how stupid it would be to have survived this long and to now drown/freeze to death. She eventually made it. She ran over to her bag, then stopped, she could feel someone watching, she had felt it since she got on shore. She got her bow and knocked an arrow into place. She looked up and almost let it go right away, "Who are you? Friend? Foe?" She said, backing up a little to get a better aim...just in case.

'oh dear' went threw Johns mind when he heard the girl drew her bow. 'maybe I should play dead and wait till she goes away' he thought be still as a statue. He was really surprised that she had seen him up here. When John looked at it from the ground he it looked like just a birds nest. It maybe a bit large but then again how many people would look up here in the first place. ' maybe they are talking to another person' John thought quietly to himself as he remained unmoved from the position from when she crossed the stream. 'just stay perfectly still and they will go away' he told himself in his head. Just then he heard a crack from the tree. "oh~" was he said as the branch gave way all of a sudden sending him and his nest falling to the ground.

People are strange, for some reason, they almost never think to look up. Rosa had realized this and promised herself to always look up. When she heard the branch crack and saw the guy falling....she wouldn't let that happen again, images flashed through her mind and she ran forward, her arms outstretched. She stopped the guys fall by grabbing him, wrapping her around him, and using herself to change the motion. She held onto the guy as they rolled to the side and stopped a short distance away. She swore to herself, just realizing what she had just done. She pushed him away and grabbed her knife, her body hurt where she'd landed on it. She pushed the pain aside and said, "Answer me."

John laid on the ground for just a second collecting his wits. His shot wide as he recalled the fall and the girl near by. In one swift movement he leaped to his feet while drawing his knife. "If I answer friend then what assurance do I have that you aren't a foe?" He asked as he crouched down and twirled his knife into a reverse handed position. He always had a knack for knives and enjoyed playing with them so he knew what he was doing. None of this helped the fact that he had a branch sticking out of his arm and was hurting quiet painfully. He tried to ignore it as not to give the stranger an opening.

He looked out his window door of his old, Worned out car. His parents have brought him for his birthday a week ago. He invited friends and kids from town, but no seem to have come. He felt forgotten, it was his birthday which come ouch a year! Seems like only his fan noticed, his twitter, facebook, Youtube were filled with happy birthday wishes! It made him smile but nothing would make him smile more if he had a real birthday party! He wondered why no one came, was it because he was too popular or are thy just jealous ( ) He career is getting into his life... He can't go outside to much paparazzi! He doesn't want to be someone else to live, he wants to be himself... "Maybe I should Take a break off singing, or just retire..." He mumbled turning his car around a corner and stopped at a crosswalk at his house...

Ada and Jack wandered the streets of the strange, ruined town, looking for any sign of life. Ada was treading warily, stepping lightly and looking around, and listening intently. Jack was looking under fallen slabs of rock interestedly. Ada glared at him and he came over. "Stay close, just in case." she said softly.

Sienna jumped surprised by the voice, she pulled out her dagger, and pointed at him, "..hi?.." She stepped back and put her dagger back in her pouch, "For future reference sneaking up on people is not a good idea" She said smiling at him. He didn't seem like a threat but she was on her guard, just in case, "Who are you?" She asked. If he wasn't after her items, she would be glad to see a friendly face, but until it was decided whether or not he was friendly she was on her guard.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to sneak up on you. I'm, Jordan, and who are you?" Jordan says "You look hungry, I've got a little food, do you want some?" he continued gesturing to his small pouch, the girl looked nice, she was just cautious with strangers, and really that's not a bad Idea.

Ella sees something ahead, it looks like food, she ran ahead but to her disappointment it is just a rolled up piece of red paper, from a distance it had looked like an apple, she sits down to pray to God for help.

Unna get's back up and continues to search for food, 'surely there's some around here.' she thought, but she couldn't find any, not even a little scrap.

"It's alright" Sienna shrugged, "I'm just glad I didn't do anything I'd regret" She smiled at him, "I'm Sienna, by the way" She watched him curiously. Did he just offer her food? She hadn't been offered kindness is quite a while, "No thanks. You keep it." She shook her head, "I have some food" She motioned to her small backpack on her back, "Not much but enough to last today and maybe tomorrow" She let out a sigh. Sienna wished they could have met under different circumstances...but you can't control the world...

"Mind if I acompany you? I could provide for myself" Jordan asks, hoping to become friends with her "It's pretty lonely on my own though..."
