Loki sighed a bit, now that Narfi had got him on the subject, he couldn't help but think about the rest of his children; Jormungand, Fenrir, and Hel. Narfi gave a small smile and extended his arm for the snake to wrap around.

The snake slithered to Narfi's arm. Valerie looked up at Loki and stood up. "Are you alright?"

Loki shook his head. "If I said yes, I'd be lying." He answered quietly, sitting down in the chair at the table again, looking to the ground with a deep frown.

Narfi smiled brighter as the snake slithered onto his arm. He brought his arm over to his brother. "Vali! Look!" Narfi said happily.

"What's wrong?" Valerie asked.

Vali smiled and rubbed the snake's head.

"Are you familiar with the rest of my brood?" Loki asked, his gaze not leaving the floor as he spoke.

Narfi gave small laugh. "What should we name him, brother?" He asked, watching as Vali rubbed the snake.

"No." Valerie replied and sat across from him.

"She gave him to you. You should name him." Vali replied.

Abby watchen him. She made a lower powered whirl pool around him.

Bruce sighed a little with a small smile and let himself get washed away with the whirlpool, circling around and around. It was a little bit like a fast lazy river

"Well, the rest of my children are monsters to everyone else...But they are my children and I see them as so. One of them, which Narfi mentioned, is Jormungand, a giant sea snake. The second, Fenrir, a giant wolf...a giant, vicious wolf. And the third, my only daughter, Hel. Now...she's queen of the dead in Niflheim...And a beautiful woman from the waste up...But from the waste down, gruesome and rotting...I love them all very dearly..." Loki said, his voice cracking a few times while he explained.

"But I don't know what to name him..." Narfi muttered, mulling over names in his mind. "How about Djevelen?" He suggested, "Norwegian for devil."

Valerie put her hand on his shoulder. "It shouldn't matter what others think of them, only what you think. That's what matters to them most, is how their father sees them. Inside and outside."

Vali nodded. "That's a good name." ((Now I just memorize how to spell it))

Abby smiled and made the whirl pool slow down.
