i smiled "wanna go to the park?" i said

In her dream, Kaiiyen opened her eyes and looked at Ike staring down at her. The pain had eased some then, but not by a lot. She remembered crying; Ike holding her close and telling her that she was okay, that the pain would pass. "Ike..." She whispered on a sigh, clutching his shirt.

i woke and looked at her "yes?"

Kaiiyen was still dreaming. Red. Red everywhere. It clouded her vision as acid-like vampiric venom raced through her veins, causing her to die.
And come back as an undead. A vampire. And Ike surveyed it all, watchful for any kind of distress, a gentle look in his eyes, lips set in a straight line.

(To avoid confusion, the dream sequences will be written in italics.)

i felt uneasiness in her and watched her

Ike kissed her forehead and it eased the pain a little more. Kaiiyen held his hand tightly, listening to the sound of his voice and not the words he was saying.

Kaiiyen's bite mark started to bleed a little.

i started to get worried and put my hand on the bite

Kaiiyen's eyes opened and she cried out, pulling away from him and crawling under the bed. The bite mark throbbed.
