Rain stumbled and fell on his knees, using his hands to catch his fall. He cringed, feeling warm liquid seeping from his hands. He glared over his shoulder at Lain. "Fine. Do it." He closed his eyes and looking down. "I probably deserve it anyway."

Lain's eyes softened a bit, and she kneeled by Matthew, twirling a finger. Rain was pushed to his feet by some magical force, and some purple mist floated around him, healing his hands. She put a hand on Matthew's forehead, pondering what was wrong with him.

Matthew grunted as he glared at the figure that had tripped over him. "Hey!" he barked out in pain, growling lowly until he noticed Rain's face. At the moment, the chimera was zoning in and out and his sense of smell wasn't all that reliable at the moment. He couldn't tell who was who and what was what. Sighing, the platinum blonde tried to keep his head up, but really the only thing even supporting Matthew's body were the sand cuffs around his wrist with a very short chain connecting straight to the call wall behind him. Giving a pained smirk, he gave what seemed to be shrug. "Oh, Rain, boy... You know the usual... Prisoner of Pitch... Draining of powers to get him stronger..." he spoke weakly, his tone still as cocky as ever, but his voice was very hoarse and cracked. Sighing out of exhaustion from just the small talking alone, he left his chin rest on his chest again. "H-He's not gotten... Aero... yet... right?" he coughed out, arching an eyebrow at Rain then narrowed his eerie green eyes at Lain. "Wh-What are you doing here, girl?" he growled, but suddenly cringed at an old wound reopening itself on his neck. Growling in frustration, his grey tattoos flashed softly in the darkness, though it was dim, he hadn't have enough energy to shift into his original form from over powering emotions such as his frustration and anger at the moment. Growling, the Avian Canis Lupis jerked at the chains, failing miserably as his head fell once more from a loss of energy. "Huh... We ha-have no time for foolish games... Either get out before Pitch comes back or help me out and let us escape..." he muttered in annoyance at Rain and Lain's small bicker, well, if was even that. Matthew flinched a bit as Lain placed her hand to his forehead, he furrowed his eyebrows as he felt a jolt of pain ring through his head.

Lain sighed. "Matthew, dear," she spoke softly, her gaze flickering to his, "could you do me a favor and stop talking?" She looked at Rain. "Can you please help me get him out of here?"

Rain cracked a small smile. "Still getting into mischeif? Ya, Ithats the Matthew I remember." He shot a glare at Lain, then turned his attention back to Matthew. He rubbed his scar, thinking hard. He glared at Lain and growled. "I would, if we knew how to break the dark magic spell thats keeping the cuffs locked!"
