Matthew coughed as his wrists rubbed against the crystallized sand cuffs. "Ugh..." he groaned in pain as he could feel the sharp edges cut into his wrists. "Such, novice... spells... I'm ashamed of myself..." he breathed out in shame to how weak he had become. His eerie green eyes searched the darkness as he heard the voices exchange words. A certain conversation he picked on as he listened to Lain's and Rain's echoing voices pierced the darkness of Pitch's lair. Chuckling, he smirked weakly, so Rain had a connection thing going on with that dream girl. Suddenly, he toppled over a bit as his body suddenly jerked up as his wrists and hands were shackled to the wall above him. His chin touched his chest as he cringed a bit, but not much was visible, as in this state, he was nearly immobile. Sighing, the chimera furrowed his eyebrows as the crimson liquid dripped from his forehead and hairline and from the corner of his mouth. Growling, the platinum blonde was starting to get angered with how he couldn't escape, but Pitch was draining the Avian Canis Lupis of all his dark magic he wield. Huffing, he lifted his head a bit as he tried to see if he could spot Rain nearing him, but it was still pitch black, no pun intended.

Rain shook his head at Lain. "Forget I asked you, okay? I can do this myself." He spun around, his cloak whipping out behind him, and re-entered Pitch's lair. He narrowed his eyes atthe darkness as he entered. Where was Matthew? He started to walk slower, not being ale to see anything. He cautiously took another step....... and tripped........ over Matthew! Rain jerked his head up, seeing what he had triped over, Mathew's lower legs. Rain's eyes widned at his friends condition. "Matthew? What happened to you?" Rain shook his head, not waiting for an answer. "We have to get you out of here."

((So, Aero, can Pitch capture Rain too? :3 And maybe m,ention his scar, to you know, cause drama. XD (Ps. Pitch gave him his scar. XD) ANd then later, like, in a few pages maybe, Catcher can come save them? :3))

Lain watched Rain go, snorting. She watched him stumble over something. "Smooth, Rain. Real smooth." She walked after him despite what he'd said, and saw a boy laying on the ground. She sucked in a sharp breath, then kneeled beside him.

Rain whirled around and shot to his feet. He advanced on Lain, making her move backward. "Lain? Get out. Get out of here. I dont want you near him right now. He's been captured and beaten by Pitch.... but you probably wanted that? You dont care for anyone, and I have to help him. He's my friend. Now, leave." He narrowed his eyes, still advancing. "Before I make you. I'm going to get him out of here. Leave."

((So, Pitch is going to end up capturing Rain anyway. XD))

Lain suddenly grabbed Rain's shoulders and twirled him around to face Matthew, then pushed him. "Sorry, did I hear you right? You think I wanted Pitch to hurt him? Because if you do, give me a second to pound your face."
