(I think Aragorn might bring them the news, if that is okay with you?)

The bay horse followed where his owner wanted him to go. The bird flitted from tree to tree, when it stopped they were on another shady hill. It was closer and had a better view of the Hobbit's house. Aragorn slide out of the saddle and stood looking at what was going on. The bird gave a quiet, sad tune, until finally deciding to fly to Aragorn. It landed gracefully on his shoulder. Strider looked over at the bird and talked lightly to it in the elven language. The bird, which was a mere thrush, quickly began to talk to him, telling him of news from Gandalf.

(sounds perfectly good to me. :D)

Bilbo looked up at the cloaked person, whoever it was sure did sound like a woman.. not that Bilbo had any interest in women. He blinked a couple times as she listened to her, then noticed a dragon thing in his yard as well and yelped, "Dragon!" He reached just in his door for his sword, unsheathing it he aimed the blade at the hybrid, "What do you want?" It so turned out as the Hobbit looked at the other two, the Elf and the Dwarf that they too had their swords drawn.

But as everything unfolded, the hybrid was no threat to them and placed his sword back into the sheath, "Please accept our apologies.. please come inside and join us." He said as the Hobbit walked over to the hybrid, and offered a hand in a handshake, "Mr.Baggins at your service." He said cheerfully with a wide, respectable smile.

Once everyone was introduced he led the way into his hobbit hole.. that was until another figure arrived.. again.

Postby spookskingcal » Tue Jan 01, 2013 8:57 am

{Okay, here's my form! Could anyone give me an update on what's been happening? Please and Thank you.

Image

    Basics
{ Name } "My name is Istalri Silverbow."
{ Nickname } "If you happen to be my friend, call me Iz or Tally. If you happen to NOT be my friend, call me Istalri. Wait...it'd be even better if you call me nothing at all."
{ Age } "I have just reached the seventeenth year of my life, which means, in simpler words, I am seventeen."
{ Birthday } "My Birthday? I was born on the Winter Solstice."
{ Gender } Hmmm..well, let me see. I am a female. Girl. Chick. Lady. Woman. Whatever you want to call me, I am still of the feminine gender. If you cannot see that, then you must be blind. And, my apologies if you ARE blind. I COMPLETLY understand the mistake. She walks off muttering about voice pitches.
{ Sexuality } "I have no interest in women."
{ What she is } "I am Half-Elf, Half-Human. I am the illegitimate daughter of Lord Elrond Halfelven. My mother was Akarasi. They had a tryst, thus I was produced. Of course, Lord Elrond has no idea I exist. I know his name, though, from my mother's diary."

    Appearance

{ Physical Appearance } "Ah, I have silver eyes, which I have always thought of as beautiful but odd, like myself. My hair is naturally black.
{ Height } "I am only 5'7". No taller, no smaller."
    { Weight } "167 lbs."

    Inside Their Mind

{ Personality } Istalri. How to describe this complex girl. Well, she has a short temper. When someone insults her or does something that she doesn't like to one of her friends, she will go off. Other times, she is completely calm and quiet, just sitting there and staring If she doesn't like you, she will tell you that and what she thinks of you. She also tells the truth when asked. She doesn't like to talk of her past for it hurts her. Istalri finds it hard to trust people, but, herself, is easy to trust. If you become her enemy, beware, but if her friend, she will be there for you when you call. She is quiet at times, but other times, she is sarcastic. She is normally an outsider because of how she acts, but it doesn't bother her. She sings and draws, which are two of her favorite pastimes. Istalri also hates it when people hate on her, that is one of the things that will anger her. She prefers to be by herself, and she hates crowds. Claustrophobia does that to people. She will help anyone who is in need of help, but her, herself, will not ask for anything in return. She is very self dependent and relies on no one but herself. Istalri is very kind to those who deserve it. She is also a charmer; she can charm almost anyone out of anything if she puts her mind to it. Istalri can lie very fluently, but only uses it if needed
{ Short History } Istalri is a Halfling: Half-Elf and Half-Human. Her mother, Akarasi, was in tryst with Lord Elrond. She has lived by herself in a cabin outside the small village of Elberra, which is located near the outskirts of Mirkwood. As of lately, she has been travelling, making her way towards the Shire. Gandalf, her friend and confidante, had summoned her. She must look for the Sign, or so the Wizard had said.
{ Strengths/Weaknesses } Strengths: Good Fighter, Cleverness, Good Cook, Artist, Musician, Loyal, Strong-hearted, Fights for what She Believes in, Scrounger, Hacking, Archery, Planning, Self-Reliant, Truthful, Witty, Bold.
Weaknesses: Afraid of Being Caught, Underconfident, Untrusting, Anger Issues, Hard Time Making Friends, Shyness, Self-Reliant, Sarcastic, Sharp Tongued.

    odds and ends
{ Pet } "Ah, so, we finally get to this. Yes, I have a pet. His name is Osiris. What is he? He is the most beautiful cat ever. His fur is all shades of silver and grey. It's fluffy but sleek. His tail tip is white and on his back and tail and legs, he has darker grey stripes that are slightly undefined. And his eyes, they are a dark gold. They look like liquid fire."
{ Specialty and Weapons } "I am an Herbalist and a slight Sorceress. Gandalf has taught me useful spells and has promised to teach me more. My weapons are my bow and arrows and my daggers. I also have my walking staff."

(Accepted! :D Well as of so far, everyone is meeting at Bilbo's home as of right now so you can come up with some reason for your character to wind up at Bilbo's hobbit hole, Kili and Bufor are there because they were originally visiting their old friend while others are finding themselves there because it is where Gandalf told them to go to.)

(Once everyone is inside? Alrightie. I will post after everyone else has posted and after you. :3)

Bali eagerly shook Bilbo's hand, and her grip was quite tight. Soon letting go, she spoke in a very soft voice, "I'm horribly sorry If I startled you, Mr. Baggins. But, Thank you for inviting me in." Soon enough, the female followed the hobbit in at a rather hurried pace. Her mind kept flashing with the images of the an she had seen on the hilltop. The hybrid took a seat next to Kili, crossing one leg over the other in a very feminine way. Bali's large ears twitched for a moment, rather intrigued in her surroundings. You could barely tell she was bursting with excitement.
no longer active on here!! you may see me pop in time to time but I don't visit for months at a time.

The Half-Elf
||Seventeen||Somewhere in the Shire||Anxious and Slightly Peeved||

Istalri pushed her bangs from her face with a huff. She had been travelling nonstop by foot. A few days back, she had been robbed of everything save her weapons and what little supplies she had on her. Her horse, Syndariel, was now in the hands of some group of bandits. Ever since this unfortunate delay in her travels, she had been doubling her pace. And finally, after all of her determination, she had made it close to the place she needed to be. Approaching a Hobbit who was sweeping his pathway, Istalri cleared her throat to make herself known. The Hobbit looked up with a look of concentration on his face. "What, what do you want?" Istalri was slightly taken aback by his behavior, but she did not let it show. "Could you please tell me where-" she searched her mind for the name Gandalf had told her, "the Baggins residence is?" The Hobbit rolled his eyes and pointed up the road. "That-a way. Now be off." He went back to his sweeping.

Istalri thanked him, and unsure if the Hobbit heard, shrugged and set off up the road. Finally, she came to a quite beautiful Hobbit hole. Istalri walked up the steps and knocked on the round door, hoping and praying that she had found the place that Gandalf had told her to go to.

Bilbo smiled at the hybrid, "Oh it is not a problem at all---" The Hobbit was about to say something more when there was yet again another knock at the door, "Excuse me."He said as the Hobbit once again peeked out the window to find that someone did in fact knock on his door again.

Quickly Bilbo got in front of the door and opened it, "May I be of any service?" He asked the woman standing in front of him, "are you lost? Or are you looking for someone?" He asked her. She looked rather tired and by her body language, a little upset as well.

Istalri smiled, trying to be pleasant but her tiredness was beginning to show. "Yes, in fact you can. I'm looking for Bilbo Baggins. Do you know, perchance, where he might be? My friend Gandalf has sent me to find him for some reason." The Half-Elf stifled a yawn, then blushed in embarrassment. "I am quite sorry, though, to be interrupting you. It's just that I must find him for Gandalf does nothing without a reason. And my horse was stolen," she paused then frowned slightly. "Ah, but I shall not trouble you with my problems. But it would be helpful if you COULD point me to the Baggins' Residence."

{Meh, I have to go. Please update me by PM if you all get very ahead!

(Alrighty.)

Bilbo smiled, "Well you do not have to look anymore. I am Mr.Bilbo Baggins. Please come in." He said as the Hobbit got out of the way of the door. Once the half-elf was inside he closed the door once again, somewhat hoping it will be the last time. Then brought the half-elf into the dining room where the others were waiting.

Like a good host, he went off into the kitchen to get some hot drinks together, then hurried to the pantry to gather the snacks. Setting the cakes, fruits, veggies and some cookies, as well as a loaf of bread and spreads that he made on the table the Hobbit scurried off to the cellar to get some wine. Carrying the small barrel into the kitchen, he set it on the counter. Walking over to the large pot in the fireplace Bilbo checked on the beef stew that he has been cooking since that very morning.
