Jason stopped once he was deep in the forest and looked around as it started to snow again. He climbed another tree and jumped from tree to tree but he had changed direction so he was going the long way back to the cave so he could think of what he was going to say. Jason was extremely quiet as he went back and made as little noise as possible,

I continued to follow Jason's scent, jumping on the branches and in the direction he'd jumped. His scent was full of grief and it made me cry. I went even faster as soon as it started to snow, emitting a long howl every half-mile or so.
The girl you just called fat?... She is overdosing on diet pills. The girl you just called ugly?... She spends hours putting makeup on hoping people will like her. The boy you just tripped?... He is abused enough at home. That guy you just made fun of for crying?... His mother is dying. Put this in your signature if you're against bullying. I bet 95% of you won't re-post, but I'm sure the people with heart and backbone will. This is the signature of someone who has, more than once, attempted suicide as a result of being abused everywhere she went. Bullies murder. Don't stoop that low.

Gin and Astra kept up with her, ears alert and noses quivering. Astra gave a low huff of a bark then let out an echoing howl that made Gin cringe.

Astra returned her glance, snow falling on her black fur to leave white specks. Gin shook the fine layer of snow off of her that had already formed, her tail tucked as she moved over toward Jewel. Astra looked away, ears flicking like radar dishes as she tried to catch any sound or scent, nose quivering as well. She finally shook the powdery layer of white off of her black fur and sighed, resting against her staff a moment.

Jason was close to the cave by now and his pace became slower. He heard howls off in the distance but he just ignored them, stopped as he reached a nice sturdy branch and sat down quietly. Jason looked around slowly, then at the ground below him boredly and sniffed the air gently as he felt a cool breeze run through his fur. He started to think about how he had ripped the branch from a tree, threw it to the ground below and ran off.
