Ashwyn's smile faltered as he gazed over the scientists, scowling now. He lightly clutched her hand and began to walk out, eyes focusing on the door.

Jack rolled his eyes and walked back to his office. "Since she isn't yours anymore, I could test on the couple, right?" he called to Jareth before walking on.

Serena frowned at Jack and flinched slightly as Jareth walked up to them. She held Ash tightly.
