Elizabeth starts to pace up and down the sidewalk. "I hate them! They never take me with them to go anywhere or do anything! They always say, 'we don't want you getting hurt.' Well if they didn't want me to get hurt why do they send me out here each day to collect food, when I should be safer instead of alone at night." Her eyes started turning a deep red. She was enraged.

Chess changed into her cat form."Its quite alright, I know what its like to be alone and most of my kind spend their days sending people in the wrong direction. But trust me when I say this, Im sure your siblings love you very much."

Elizabeth started to calm down. "Your right..." She looked at Chess and petted her. "They are my siblings after all so of course they care for me." She sighs. "Sometimes they just don't know how to show it."

Chess squirmed slightly, because she never liked being pet by strangers but reluctently agreed to the pettings for the girl's mental sake...
"People just show their love differently"Chess explained

Elizabeth thought about what Chess is trying to say. Elizabeth stops petting Chess and stands up emotionless. "Differently...I have never thought of it that way." She tried to force a smile but it didn't work.

"Dont try to smile"She said softly to her"And take all the time you need to think."
Chess lay down in the soft grass under a tree

She stood there. "I understand." She looked at each individual house. "i have to return home..."

"Alright"Chess said"Goodbye, Elizabeth"

"Goodbye." Elizabeth starts to disappear into the shadows. "I will return soon."

"Ill be here then"Chess replied"I dont have anything else to do.." and then closed her eyes to take a nap
