"Life could be worse you know... and its rude to ignore people!" she grumbled at the man as another person entered the shop. One quick once over told her that one leg was too short, easy to topple in battle. It didn't take long for the man to fix the problem however. She had seen quite a few people with automail and knew better than to go up and poke her nose in where it didn't belong... metal slapping your muzzle didn't exactly feel the best. Even so, she just hoped Mr. Grumpy-gills would stop grumbling and actually talk to her.

Luka watched Namine for a minute, trying to pester the automail-maker. Shaking his head, he turned his attention back to the state alchemist when another person walked through the door. A mild glance told him what was wrong, but again he didn't want to interrupt business. While all the components were easy to make, at least for him, he couldn't just steal the man's clients and fix each item for free. If he did that then they would both go broke. Again he returned his attention back to the original customer. He wanted to say something, but already the commotion in here was starting to bore him. Looking down, his hands lit up once again as the metal figurine in his hands changed into a rose. Rolling the stem in his hands, he examined it for a moment before handing it to her.
"For some reason I feel like I know you." he stated abruptly, not quite sure if the metal rose was quite appropriate, but he couldn't think of anything else to make at the moment.
