'Kachink.... Kachink...' the sharp slap of metal gliding through the air, sliding, then coming to a dead stop in the gloved palm of an alchemist. Again the tiny blades, fastened by a clasp, swung, then made their not so delicate landing in his palm. Throwing knives, perfectly balanced, except one. He watched as he thrust the blades in the air once more, again they slid and clinked, but one was not like the other. Shaking his head, he snatched the knives out of the air, his palm lighting as the imperfect set turned to a small figurine.
Bored... There was nothing to do out here... each village looked the same... Sighing, he looked down at Namine, who's nose was pointed directly towards the south.
"Whats wrong Namine?" he questioned, not able to mimic her senses.
"A State Alchemist went through here... Smells of rust and oil." she spoke, her words hard pressed to sound human from her canine throat.
"Well what do you say we go check this Alchemist out? Got nothing better to do anyway." he began, trailing off in the end. Already his feet were aimed towards the south, and traversing the distance in a lazy lope. Namine took the lead, her nose picking up the scent. He wasn't going to tell her, but he could probably find the Alchemist on his own. If it wasn't the foot prints trailing straight to the automail shop... well he could find her just by the metal alone.... It was almost as if the element screamed to him, begging him to help it form something new and amazing.
Shaking his head he followed the huma-dog to the shop, not really caring if he needed automail or not. Stepping through the doors, his face cracked into a small smile. He was sure he knew this particular dog of the military, but it had been some time and he didn't want to guess wrong. Stepping up beside her he looked at the wares, eyeing the grumbling man coming out from the back before looking down. He could probably make one of these if he really tried, but he didn't feel like interrupting the man's business.
"Fancy meeting you here." he spoke in a neutral tone and waited for a reply.
Namine watched as Luka walked up to the Alchemist, her husky eyes rolling as she passed by the pair to investigate the shop further. Quietly she dodged the chairs, miraculously not tipping them over, and rounded the counter to spy upon the upset man.
"I bet if Alchemists weren't around, you wouldn't make much money selling automail... I don't get to do Alchemy either..." she spoke, trying to cheer the man up, and hoping that she wouldn't scare the heck out of him
That was one issue with this form, she always seemed to take people by surprise, and she always ended up kicked out of places for it. Yet she didn't mind, in fact she loved her canine body, kids seemed to like it too... at least the ones that didn't freak out because of her size. Sighing, she sat down, placing her head upon the counter and allowing her eyes to drift from the Alchemists, and back to the man.
((I was going to make them both girls but realized I should prob keep them balanced
