Elise chuckled as Callie purred and licked him. Elise smiled and said, "Now that is very human behavior."

(You have a boyfriend?!? I'm officially forever alone. Even the most desperate guy hasn't thought to ask me to our homecoming dance.)

Legion hummed quietly, smiling and chuckling gently. "You are adorable, you know this?" Legion sat cross-legged on the floor, carefully pulling Callie into his lap and stroking her. "Simply gorgeous."

(Well, I'm the only girl who is going that doesn't dress up or anything. And my shoes that I love to wear are destroying my feet, but they make me look great. I have high arches and if I wear them another day, I'm not gonna be able to walk.)

Elise smiled and said, "I certainly think so." Callie purred and began to lick him, then started gnawing on a finger, still hungry.

Legion chuckled happily, nuzzling the cat, careful not to cut her with his spikes. "I love you, little cat," he giggled. "Very much." Legion curled up around the cat, sighing happily. "I am Legion, little cat. I'll be your...your...friend."

Elise smiled and struggled to not laugh at the fearsome boy cuddling the kitten. She got out a bit of milk for Callie and set it down where she could lap it up. She did so quickly, then went back to Legion, climbing up his arm before nicking herself on a spike. She jumped back surprised and tumbled on the ground, lying there not sure what had happened.

"No! I...oh no..." Legion's features fell, and extended a hand to try and pet the cat again. When it hissed at him, he recoiled until he backed himself into a corner. He stared with wide, tear-filling eyes at Elise and the cat, breathing hard. "N-no...I didn't...I didn't mean to...I..." He hid his eyes in his hands, shaking his head. The tears squeezed past Legion's eyes, wetting his hands. "I...I am a monster. This construct is a monster, built for destruction."

Elise looked down and picked up Callie who tried to claw her. She sighed, and looked at the cat, who had calmed down, and was nursing it's wound. She sighed and then knelt down beside Legion. "No, you're not. You've already proven that," she said, gently touching the side of his face. She placed an arm around his shoulder, ignoring the pain from the spikes, knowing that it wasn't really that bad. "She hissed cause she was still surprised and had a cut on the bottom of her foot. The foot she had jumped back onto."
