Elise's eyes narrowed, and they began to shift into an unnatural red. "No, I don't expect you to give up. As a matter of fact, I doubted you would. I can recognize someone who's greedy, someone who's a bully, and I can most certainly recognize a jerk! And you are all of those! If there is one thing I can't stand, it's a bully. And although I can't hit a person, I can hit you! No one will see you at all!" Elise exclaimed, completely furious with the arrogant man who was making fun of her. HEr fists curled up into tight fists ready to punch Greed as hard as she possibly could.

Veser saw this as his golden opportunity. He came up behind her, wrapping his arms around her midsection and pulling her close in a hug. He put his lips just next to her ear, slowly letting out a breath that sent shivers up her spine. "My dad was an abusive drunk," he said in a husky whisper. "Beat me senseless most of my life 'till one day I wasn't there anymore. Turned up at some old guy's place." Veser paused a moment, breathing down her back again. "Old man treated me good. Lived with him and his old lady for a while. Father Time and Mother Earth. Great people." Veser paused again, placing his lips just a few inches shy of the space between her chin and her neck. "I think you're great, Sweets." And then he released her, taking a step back and stuffing a hand in his pocket. A devious grin took over his features, and he glanced over to where Mother Nature went. He grinned and started off, looking over his shoulder at Star. "C'mon! Let's follow it. Looks like fun!"

"If your the so called Prince of fear, why can't you tell what the fears of others are?" Robin snapped

Star did shiver, she hung her head a bit, feeling sorry for him. Kids like her and him really shouldn't go through that, but she blushed when he got that close. God, she was either running a fever or she was falling for him. "S-sure..." Star stuttered, standing and fixing her short black dress, ruffling up her pink hair a bit, and smiled at her. Her only problem was she couldn't stop blushing when her eyes were on him.

Greed smirked, "Ah. Looks like we have a fighter here." He crossed his arms over his chest, "Listen closely. I wouldn't get caught up in the guardian's problems. If they are so strong and mighty, they should be able to fend for themselves instead of having some human fight for them." He said coldly.

Dylan grinned, "Oh I can, if I Make there Fear a reality." He smirked evilly, "But unfortunatly I'm saving my power for something worth while."

Robin glared at Dylan. She noticed the shadows were no longer holding her. She growled and stood up quickly.

"I'm sure the guardians can do just fine. I just want to punch you myself," Elise snarled. And so she did, squarely into his left eye.
