Dustin walked slowly giving himself a good pace for his injury and allowing crystal to look at everything. He took her to a large tree off to the side of campus. "Here we are. I know it doesn't look like much but it's really special" he said looking at the old tree.

Crystal tilts her head back to look ay the tree, "Whoa. Its huge!: she looka it over examining the leaves that were falling she released his hand and caught one, "Why is this tree so special?" Sje asks not able to contain her curiousity any longer

Dustin made his way over to the tree trunk an slowly sat down leanin his back against it. The leaves that littered the ground crunched in protest of his weight bearing down on them. He looked back at Crystal once he was comfortable. "It's where I first met you.." He replied quietly.

Crystal follows and sits beside him. She heard his words and couldn't contain her smile. She leanes in and kissed his cheek. She the sat back against the tree. She closed her eyes for a moment and said, "yes it is." She then opens her eyes and points accusingly at the root next to her, "this root teipoed me!"

Dustin's cheeks flushed a soft pink when she kissed him. He smiled and let out a small laugh when she started accusing the root of tripping her. "Maybe it thinks you are the mean girl that tripped it" he said teasingly.

Crystal laughs and continues to glare playfully at the root. She smiles and looks up at the tree then back t Dustin. "So what thing have I missed out on seeing? "

"I wouldn't say you missed out on seeing anything. You just saw things differently than most. That's all" he said with a shrug. Dustin looked around the campus for anything that Crystal would love to see. Nothig stuck out to him probably because he was used to it. "I can't think of anything" he said

"Hmm. Do you know of any pet stores around here? I want ti get a new dog." She looks sad for a minute thinking of solider but she then smiles and stands. She offers him hrr hand to pull him up

Dustin took her hand and pulled himself up. "Thanks" he replied and looked around. "I think there is one about fifteen minutes from here if it's still open" he said looking towards the school gate. He looked back at Crystal and smiled lightly "you sure you're ready for one?" He asked
