The vampire sat down, watching his slave. He got thirsty from being in the mall, were all those humans worked. Dan scratched his head, waiting.

Lurniru finds a good pair of shoes. "I found shoes."

Varias nodded. "I know, but I had no choice..."
Manuela looked at him. "Get to the point, or get out."

The bat squeaks at him again. Somewhere in the back of Yol's mind there is a thought *Such indignities.*

Varias sighed. He made sure Jacklin couldn't hear him. "They have my mother and sister... The only way to make sure they stay alive..." He fell in silence, sighing.
Manuela looked at him. "... is to kill him, right?"
Varias nodded. "I don't want to, but what choice do I have? I have no idea why they keep them."

Dan looked up. "Good. So, you're done?"

Yol flits down to sit on Manuela's knee, thinking. No one spoke bat, and no way in h*ll was he miming his idea. He could still write, couldn't he? He flies *ouch* over to the tea and cookies and starts arranging crumbs to look like words. So it reads Perhaps I can just play dead

"yeah," Lurniru says.

Varias looked at him, then shook his head. "They want to make sure. Acting doesn't help, it won't be the first time someone faked a death. Sadly enough, it was my own idea to make sure a job was done."
Manuela looked at the bat.

Serena rolled her eyes. The house was pretty boring. She walked downstairs, into the livingroom and studied the books in the bookshelf.

Dan nodded and stood up, walking over to the counter to pay for the shoes.

The bat eats some of the crumbs, thinking. Rearranging them. Tell them I left. Middle of the night, never came back.

Varias sighed. "They won't buy that. But thanks." He got up calmly so he wouldn't make any surprising movements. "I just wanted to tell you why I did it... I am no longer part of them, even though they think I am... And I am not with the Elite. But at the moment I have no options..."
