I don't notice him looking, and hear people coming. I turn around, and smile."Carter!" i say, and walk over to some people. I start talking, and bring a girl over."this is Carter. One of jaz's friends."

Jace smiled politely, about all you could ask of a flock member

i sigh.Jay, everyone around here knows about the wings." Carter look's suprised."you have the wings also?" she asked, her spanicsh accent thick.

Jace smiled thanks god" he mumbled, letting his wings, all black and red, relax, making him look scarier than he already was
