Life on the Sea

Oku watched one of the last soldier's swing and miss at Robin, so she hefted her sword, and ran it through his chest. "I'm not so sure, you look sick." Oku said, placing a reassuring hand on his shoulder.

[solo]

"I'm... oka-" Robin felt himself gag and bent over, trying not to throw up. He moaned and held onto his stomach, letting his sword drop to the floor with a clatter. Watching that last soldier die just about did it. He tried hard to keep his supper down.

Oku crouched down next to him, holding him steady. "I think you should lay down, that is, if you can get to the cabins" Oku said, a worried tone in her voice. It pained her to see the man she could feel love steadily growing for in pain.

[solo]

"Okay." Robin croaked, opened his eyes and trying not to gag again when he saw all the dead soldiers on the floor. He picked up his sword and slowly made it over to one of the beds. He gingerly laid himself down on it. "I'm too young to die." he coughed, "I'm only fifteen. I had to lie about my age to get into the Navy. Now I wish I would have listened." his coughing grew more violent and he rolled over to the other side of the bed and threw up in the barrel besides it.

Oku sighed, and hurried out of the cabin to retrieve some water for Robin to drink."Here, drink the water, it'll make you feel better." She said, siting at the foot of the cot.

[solo]

Robin nodded and took the cup from her. After he had drank all of it, he set it down and closed his eyes, "That felt better." he open his eyes, "Thank you, Oku." he said softly.

"uh-huh, anytime, anything to make you feel better." She said, and smiled at Robin.

[solo]

Robin smiled back weakly. It was quite on the ship now, he guessed that the pirates had taken over by now, which meant he could sleep. His one blue eye and one green eye fluttered shut.

Oku smiled, and traced his cheek lightly with a finger.
