Toby looked up at Adelade then looked at the ground at the sharp pieces of wood. He then turned his attention back to the young man. Lilith took a puff from her inhaler then started looking for her puppy again. She soon found him, but with some guy surrounded by splinters of wood.

The growl in Adelade's chest died off and he smiled, interested by the puppy.

Toby sat down and looked up at the young man with his droopy face. "Ummm..." Lilith said awkwardly, wanting to go grab Toby, but wasn't too sure about trying to get past the wood. She only had slip-on shoes on.

Adelade's head snapped to face the girl, "Oh, sorry. High speeds tend to make me crash," he said with a small, nervous laugh.

Lilith blinked, not understanding what that meant. Toby looker at Lili and went up to her. He jumped up on her leg to be picked up.

"Oh, you're human," Adelade said, standing up. He brushed the wood off of himself.

Lilith suddenly recognized him and back away, picking up Toby quickly. "You're that guy with the knives..."

Adelade sighed, "People get on my nerves sometimes," he muttered, taking the four knives out of his belt. One by one he swung his arm and threw the knives at the ground. They stuck in up to the hilt, "I'm unarmed," Adelade said, putting his hands in the air.

Lilith watched him closely. She slowly nodded. "What's your name?" she asked, now not as tense as before.
