Life jumped up in surprise as the door to his cell opened and two escorts came in to take to to the Inner field. He flicked his tail and his fur ruffled, but he decided it was best to not cause trouble.... for now at least. He was relived that he would finally being going outside again. For a minute, Inu contemplated trying escape again, and his light-pink claws flexed a bit, but considering the escorts had electric shock poles on them, that probably wouldn't be a good idea. He didn't resist and walked quietly alongside them, unnerved by the fact that the shock poles were less than a couple inches away from him. Suddenly, he shielded his eyes with his hands as he entered the inner field, and his heart elated, finally! He could run around! Life ignored the others inside, all he wanted was to have fun.

Quincie, feeling unsure of her new surroundings, remained what she referred to as uncharacteristically hesitant. She paid acute attention to her breathing, which was raspy and started off high at the beginning of a cycle, and ended low. It made her unnecessarily self-conscious, and she inwardly barated herself for letting these little things bother her. This new Quincie was never meant to care about little shortcomings.
Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" slipped into her mind, almost mockingly, and "Baby you were born this way" replayed in her mind's stereo set over and over. Quincie, unable to pull herself out of the rut, felt her throat close up and her eyes sting.

No, no. No conclusion jumping, she thought, trying to shh her impulses after noticing that she'd dug her nails into her forearm.
She needed someone to talk to, as much as Pride told her she didn't.

My entire left leg has been replaced by a mechanical leg, as the majority of my right. My left arm has been replaced by a large gun that takes energy from surrounding forces and compacts it into destructive orbs. Blades come out of this weapon, as you can see, to protect me from those who would like to tear off my mechanical arm. My right eye and many of my organs- as well as part of my mind- are all black machinery as well. Those little veins of pulsating blue you see- well that happens to be my energy transfer veins. When they flash red, it means I'm in critical condition.

Her hair was naturally blonde, but after the... incident, it has taken on chameleon-ish tendencies. It has sections that stay certain colours regardless, and bits that change depending on her mood. Her eyes are grey, with flecks of blue, but there's nothing special about them. She's average height, if not a bit short, and very thinly built. She has a pale complexion, and is generally a bit airy in manner.

Personality
Chy's a pretty distant person , even when you get to know her. She's always been a very quiet person, though due to her mutation, she squawks when under pressure, or startled. Chy tries to act happy all the time, and loves making other people happy, but she's also sad inside, and sometimes it takes over, and she couldn't stand herself if she hurt anyone. She's easily startled, and jumpy. She's usually pretty sweet, but, if pushed, may or may not try to scratch your eyes out. She's always loved theatre, and since coming to Laboratory Thirteen, has taken to jokingly calling herself '24601', after Jean Valjean in Les Miserables. Almost always, she wears a ring on her pinky finger, a gift from her mother before everything went wrong, and she plays with it when stressed or under intense emotion. She tries to be reserved with her emotions, and has learned to hide them well. Well, all signs except for her hair, that is.
Mutations
A few years ago, she went travelling with her parents. She doesn't remember exactly what happened, as people tend to block painful memories, but she's been infused with parrot DNA and has taken on many characteristics. Her bones are between that of an average human and a bird, her nails are like talons if she doesn't keep them dull, she has patches of grey scaly skin on the backs of her wrists and the tops of her feet, and she can sprout wings in extreme situations.

History
Chy grew up in a big town, and lived a life most girls would dream of; a maid, professional chefs, a big house. But the only time she ever felt truly happy was when she and her parents went on safaris. By the time she was twelve she'd been to nearly every continent. Her parents were always very loving and caring, and they tried their hardest to make life easy for her. Chy always hated that she never had to do anything for herself. When she turned thirteen, her parents took her to a very remote part of the African Rainforest. Their plane crashed, and the last thing she remembers from then is very strange voices. The next thing she knew, it was nearly a month later, and she woke up cold and alone on a metal operating table. She doesn't know how it happened, or why, and nobody's been kind enough to tell her, and now she's been moved here. So, she's just making the best of a bad situation.
