Fleeting Humanity (Lab Roleplay- semi-lit) Scientist Needed

Alexander shrugged. His face began twisting into different emotions. He was having a mental fight with himself, oblivious to what was happening around him.

Jade threw a brain a crossed the room, almost tipping her chair back. She shook in silent laughter.

((I give up. Evan's coming out to collect Alexander for experimenting. Jade is assigned to Amberlea. Other than that, I think that's all who is online.))

Evan stepped from the office, ever stiff in movements. He turned quickly down the hallway, his gait fast and purposeful, not an ounce of laziness in his body. He turned down the next hallway, punching in the code for the doorway. He entered the field then, eyes searching for Alexander. He had his fun today- now it was time to punish him for doing what he did to Jade. Of course, he'd mask it beneath scientific values, but it was still going to happen regardless of how much information was found. He wanted to make it clear to the experiment that he couldn't go around messing with his experiments just because he felt like slitting someone's throat.

Blade's ears flattened against his head as he heard the faint sound a door opening. He wasn't sure what was going on, but he wanted to finish the song he was playing. He opened his eyes and looked around in front of him, still singing and playing his guitar. He couldn't see anyone. Was it from behind, Blade thought as he got to the last portion of his song.

Hey guys, I was wondering- and I want to clear it with you all just in case you guys want to have slots open for new members- but, do you guys want me to make my character Neo? He's actually very enjoyable, and will bring a lot of laughs to the roleplay.))

Torynn sighed, sitting against a tree in exhaustion. He held his upper arm tightly, looking down at his paler-than-usual arm. It was freezing from having the blood drawn, and was numb save for the pins and needles that irritated his fingertips. That was a wonderful wake-up-call; to get your blood drawn by a scientist who asked too many questions. Torynn hated talking, and hated that he had to answer so many personal questions when he felt that he didn't want to. He was too tired to stand up and walk around, but he wasn't too tired that he couldn't stay awake. He would rather he didn't go back to his land of nightmares and night terrors anyway. He just had to rest up enough to use his abilities to make more bracelets.

Evan began to walk towards where he saw Alexander sitting. He wanted more time to think about more ways to punish him, but he needed to fill his time somehow for the day. If he didn't get an experiment in, he'd likely get irritated and kill another guard. Maybe the newest guard would be a good fallout. Of course, she was the only girl on the force, but she was still as good a choice as any.

Blade's ears propped up as Evan came up from behind both him and Alexander. Knew it, Blade thought as he finished playing and let the guitar shatter into yellow sparks. He stood up and turned around then bowed. "Greetings, I guess I better go," Blade said, slowly walking backwards.
The thing about Blade, is that he gets scared when people sneak up on him from behind and when he doesn't know they're there until they're right behind him. I need to train my senses more, Blade thought as he stopped about four steps away from where he originally was.

((In a previous roleplay, imagine this scenario;
a scientist walks down the halls, holding a scalpel to each bar as he taunted the experiments, asking which one wanted to go first. A hand shoots out from the bars, accompanied by a positive voice "I volunteer!". After that, he just makes fun of the scientist until the scientist can't stand it and ends up stabbing his hand. Neo just loves to piss the scientists off. XD
I'll wait to use Evan until Crooked gets back.))
