"I'll see if I can, it can be hard to distinguish one smell form the other." I took a good whiff of the air; no scents relating to food. I stood up to see if I could get more scents; the faint scent of beef and corn came. There was no smell of liquids or anything so I figured we would have water with it. "Beef, corn, and I think water." I said, feeling accomplished. "Anything you want me to try to hear?" I asked as a joke.

Jade groaned softly. She had suddenly slumped over as she leaned on the wall, a hand over her heart. She had lost any and all color to her skin and appeared very sick. She slid down the wall, her head rolling onto her shoulder. She opened her mouth to speak, but quickly closed it, her breathing becoming odd. She was shaking horribly, holding her head in her hands as she attempted, and failed, to steady her breathing.

Evan watched her, no emotion displayed on his face. She was so vulnerable at that moment. All he needed to do was go over there and sedate her. In fact, he actually took a few steps to do so. Maybe he'd inject her slowly, to ensure that she'd know what was going to happen before it did. The mental agony it would cause would be very interesting to see.
He stopped about halfway there and thought it over again. If he experimented on her now, there would be no telling what she'd do when she awoke. She might turn on them and leave, or let the experiments out. He could just lock her up with the others.

"Don't even try it." Jade hissed, her voice having dropped to such a low tone she sounded like Alexander. "I WILL leave if you do, I don't care how badly you need me here." She muttered, her voice now back to normal. Shaking her head she stood and sprinted back to her office. She slid into her chair, pulling a drawer open and searching in it for something. She found what she was looking for, a bottle of odd purple pills. Shaking six of them into her palm she tossed her head back and took all of them dry in one swallow.

I notice a scientist and start to tremble lightly. "Umm, no," I say, nervous. My black wings cover me once again in an attempt to hide me. Beef and corn. I hated meat. I would be vegitarian if possible, so I try to get as little meat as possible. I loved water, I liked it best out of all the drinks. I needed to live with it. I was like a juniper, I needed water. A lot. But I could survive without it. I rememebered a test, they had done it to see how long I could live without water. It turned out only about five days, longer than a regular human. By then I was dehydrated and had gotten heat stroke, a very bad level. Remembering this makes me tremble harder. I murmur at a decent level, hoping he doesn't hear me, "Don't notice me, Don't notice me..."

Evan watched her run from the room half amused. He stay there, knowing deep within him that she had telepathic abilities. That much he was certain of, and it made his blood sing with the thought of learning more. As he stand there, not even turning his head to watch as she fled past him, he thought about this. Think of what would happen if every human had her ability.
He finally turned around to the half-open door and shook his head sadly. "Now she's gone and left me to clean up." He shrugged. He returned to Lyetn and continued to cut into his head, extracting his brain from his head. Putting it on a tray filled with ice, he began to clean. Jade did say she wanted to keep his brain.

Oh good, I had just imagined it. I sat on the ground and looked at the sky. I wondered if I would be able to fly again. I look and see a clump of berries. I look at it, it's a strawberry plant. I don't take any, knowing that anything here would be nasty for my health. I sigh, my green eyes dull. I wish I could turn back to my regular self, but I could not. I would die, or worse would happen. I wondered when I'd be next called by a scientist.
