Fleeting Humanity (Lab Roleplay- semi-lit) Scientist Needed

{Blade}
Blade thought of something that he wanted to ask her before they were both pulled out for testing. "Zara... This may sound a bit absurd, but how much do you trust me?" he asked, hoping not to catch her off guard. He felt guilty for asking the question, but it was something he needed to get straight. "The reason I'm asking you see, is because I trust you. I trust you even if my life depended on it," he said, clearly revealing his love for her. Please don't think badly of me, he thought as he let go of her, but kept her hands in his.

{Melody}
Melody looked at Sophie and blinked. "It's not that. I just don't talk so I don't cause arguments," she said in her usual monotone voice. She knew why Sophie asked, but she didn't mind the question all the same. For her, it was common to be asked that question. "Isn't it time?" she asked Sophie, looking at her watch.

{Sophie}
Sophie looked at her watch and then her PDA that she kept in her pocket. "Yea, just about. Lets see who I've got," she said as she checked a new message. She read the message and started chuckling. I've got Neo, what where the chances, she thought as she read the other two names. "OK. Alexander, Neo and Rose. Boy how fun," she chuckled, still laughing at the message as she entered the code to the door and entered the inner field.

Rose sighed as she watched Sophie enter the field. She quickly turned invisible and thought about what to do. Being invisible would buy her some time, but if she didn't make a move she would get caught. Maybe she could just sneak back to her cell unnoticed, but she needed a code to get in. She just decided to have a little fun and see how long it would take for the scientists and guards to find her.

{Melody and Sophie}
Melody followed Sophie onto the inner field. Sophie looked around, looking for Alexander and Rose but not Neo since she knew he was in his cell. "Guard, help me find Alexander and Rose. I'll go for Alexander, you go for Rose," she said as she pointed at a picture of Rose. Melody nodded and attached an infra-red scope(because that is the only one she has on her) to her rifle as Sophie walked off to look for Alexander (she didn't know where he was at all).

Melody went towards the trees, walking past Zara and Blade and held the scope up to her eye. "Don't make this hard for us Rose! Just come out and Sophie will be easy on you. I bet she will anyway, she's only been here for a week or two," she called out, trying to lure Rose into the open. What she said was true though, Sophie is fairly new to her job and only knows a few of the experiments because she has either met them or read their files. Come out and I won't fire a warning shot, she thought as she scanned the area around the trees.

Rose rolled her eyes, although she couldn't be seen. She moved quietly so she could see the guard. "Why should I trust you? It's not like you know what she has planned for me." she said full of doubt. She had to keep moving though. She noticed this guard had a rifle and if she made noise the guard might be able to pinpoint her. She wondered how long she would be able to keep this up. Maybe if they couldn't find her soon, they wouldn't have time to experiment on her today. The thought made a smile form on her face.

((On that note, neither will Psy or Jade, since they are played by the same person... I guess Evan will take both Psy's and Jade's experiments until they come back... and I still need someone to volunteer for Willy.))

{Melody}
Melody lowered her rifle a little. "Look, I understand that you don't trust her, but she won't have a faintest clue of what to do. So just play along until she actually figures out what to do. By then, she would have most likely ran out of time." she said. This was a fact because she had Neo to test on, and Neo is a handful as she has seen on security cameras. She's invisible, this won't make things easier, she thought as she took out the clip of shock rounds from the rifle. She placed the clip on the ground, but there was still one round loaded in the chamber so she can shoot when and if Rose decided to show herself.

((Shoot. I need someone to volunteer for Zara as well, since I have a thing against people torturing their own characters. It just gets... awkward...))

Rose stayed silent for a moment, thinking the whole thing over. She watched the guard take out a clip from her rifle and place it on the ground, be she wasn't dumb. She carefully moved behind the guard and picked up a small rock before taking a few steps away. "Even if I did decide to come quietly, the second I show myself, you're just going to shoot." she accused as she tossed the rock near the guard.
