((Not much has really happened... Everyone's just about to go back inside.))

Rose sat in the corner of the inner field. Although she enjoyed having an opportunity to be outside, the scientists never provided her, or any of the others, with any sunscreen. Being a ginger, she got sunburns really easily, so she resorted to sitting in the corner that provided the most shade. As she sat there, she constantly looked around and watched the guards in the watch tower, trying to figure out if there was anyway to escape. There had to be some flaw in the security. She hadn't found it yet, but she never gave of hope of finding it so that she and the others could escape.

Blake leaned against a wall as he watched the experiments have their time outside. He knew it had to be about time to bring them inside, but he knew better than to do that on his own, so he waited. His eyes darted from one experiment to the next. All of them were so unique, and their mutations would someday improve mankind. It seemed to him, though, that these experiments didn't understand just how important they are. They should be grateful that they were selected by the scientists, and the fact that they weren't sickened him.

"I see..." Evan trailed off, feeling tired again. The torturous rage seemed to have drained him as he sat down the cattle prod, standing back up. "Either way, you can't just go off killing people as you wish, Inu. Do you know how many more times you can resurrect with what you have left?" He turned back, ready to retire for the day. He was exhausted, and he just wanted to sleep off the rest of the day. If only Willy and Jade were in better shape, then he'd be able to rest the entire time. He was going to have to cut time outside short today.

"I don't really know, Aereo. I don't know how Jade brought me back. All I know is that I woke up and she was there, I was alive, and I was fully healed." Willy shuddered, "After that, she started coughing up blood and Evan took her away. Neither of them explained how I came back to life. In fact..."
Willy's eyes widened and he whimpered, seeming to shrink down, "I think they're going to treat me as an experiment from now on, Aereo. Jade said she was going to put me in a cage..."

Aereo stared at Willy, not quite sure if he could believe him or not [he was still stuck on his zombie theory- hey, you never know.] Then, he decided that he would trust Willy for now, but he still wasn't off the hook.
Then, Willy said something about becoming an experiment. Aereo broke into a grin and began laughing broadly at that. "You? An experiment? You're their pet! They're not going rate you in among us! They favor you too much to lower you to the status of an experiment." He explained, eyes twinkling. "And besides, even if they did, it's not so bad. Just do what they tell you to, let them make you all weird, and it's pretty good!" Aereo smiled again. Things really weren't so bad. At least, not to Aereo; he'd never seen the real world, so what could he compare the labs to? He had been to a few different labs, though, so he could compare those. While he'd only been at this one for a little while- maybe four to five months if he went by what the scientists told him- it was better than some of the other labs.

Kajin opened two icy blue eyes to the darkness of the cell. Below him, Kujin's flank rose and fell softly with each deep breath the massive canine took. Kajin stood up and stretched, letting his paws slide through Kujin's coarse fur. He yawned broadly, then licked his muzzle and turned to Kujin. "Oi, time to get up, Kuj."

Below him, Kajin few Kujin shift as he lifted his massive head. "Time to get up," He echoed, blinking two gleaming eyes in Kajin's direction.

"Yep."

Kujin and Kajin appeared to be two different beings, but in truth, they were one- Kajin was the mind, and Kujin was the body. They were separated in the labs after nearly overwhelming the scientists during their creation. By separating the mind from the body, they were able to control Kinji, which was them when they were one. The embodiment of Kinji's mind was a feline creature, with two small horns on its forehead. It was extremely thin, with loose skin and light fur. This was Kajin. Then, there was the body, whish was about two thirds the size of Kinji's body but still powerful. However, without a mind, it can't do much damage. This was Kujin.

Zara shrugged, looking at him, eyes moving slowly to the door. She sighed, clutching her arm with one hand as she gazed at it. "Well, just... don't die before we have some more time together, please." She smiled at him, the shred of worry hidden in the back of her gaze as she looked at Blade. That faint blush was back, but not nearly as read as the other times. Rather, it was a slight touch of pink that highlighted her cheeks and added color to her skin.

Willy was shaking as he nodded to Aereo's advice. He didn't dare go against them in the first place. If he did, he knew the consequences would be worse than the initial experiment, and that alone scared him. Trembling, he leaned against the wall, eyes closed as he attempted to build his strength back up. He was so tired. Coming back to life had drained him completely.
"Aereo, I'm scared to be an experiment. They already said they were going to put me in a cell... I don't want to go through that again." He whispered.

Evan nodded to himself, unbuckling Inu from the straps and looking at him with tired eyes. "Let's get you back to your cell for rest." He muttered as he bandaged Inu back up, the straps gone and the bandages in hand. He wasn't worried about Inu getting up and attacking him. He could hardly move after the torture as it was.

Aereo pouted. "They told you this?" He asked, looking miffed. "They have no right to lie to you. They probably just told you that so you would listen to them more." He growled. And besides, if the scientists tried to experiment on Willy, he'd try to take his friend's place. He wasn't sure why he would, but hey, it was alright. He was used to it; Willy wasn't. That was that.

Kujin yawned and Kajin trotted forward to sit on the canine's broad head. "Wonder if they'll decide to let us go out today. We haven't been anywhere away from this cell for at least three days." Kajin murmured. He was bobbed up and down as Kujin nodded. "Yeah. Should let us out today.." He said, simply agreeing with Kajin.

Inu nodded slightly and slowly got up from the table, wincing as all the wounds on his body complained in unison, especially his tail. He grit his teeth at the feel of his tail, half of it was gone.... He couldn't feel it anymore, and that was a lot, considering Inu's tail was longer than Inu's height. He held his hand, now bandaged, where two of his fingers were gone and pinned back his ears, forcing himself to continue walking.

((Is it normal to have forgotten most of what I did to Inu? I mean it. I didn't even remember severing his tail....))

Evan looked at Inu and reminded himself not to just butcher him next time. He'd have to live in that half body for a while, until the next time he dies. It would suck, being basically skinned alive, electrocuted, given the worst fever known to mankind, chopped to pieces, and sliced to no tomorrow. Evan would have to be careful with this new found anger in the future. Some wouldn't be able to recover from it like Inu could.
"Need help?" He muttered to Inu.

"Look where that got me." Willy scoffed, "They didn't want me to come to you, but I did anyway. I'm such a rebel." He grinned, shaking his eyes sadly, "I just had to see you." He closed his eyes, the smile fading from his face as he sat against the wall. He was scared most of Jade as of now. If she found out that he had disobeyed a direct order from her... He'd be punished for sure. Evan wouldn't move to stop it, he knew. Basically, he was screwed.

{Blade}
Blade turned to face Zara and grinned softly. "Don't worry. I won't die, I promise," he said and he hugged Zara. I will not die, not here, he thought as he closed his eyes. "I will definitely not die here, not while you're still alive," he added, reassuring her that what he said is and will be true. He loved Zara with all his heart even though they are different, but he doesn't care. Blade wants to stay alive with her up until the very end, until they both die.

{Sophie}
Sophie looked up the hall, still patiently waiting for another scientist. She had an inwards feeling of excitement for testing an experiment for the first time, even though she was around for torturing three troublemakers; she didn't class that as testing. "I wonder who I'm assigned to," she mumbled as she started thinking of the many subjects such as Inuxen, Blade, Neo and Danni.
If I end up with Neo, that will be a laugh, she thought giggling a little before being quiet again.
