"Well, as far as I am conce- wait." Zara stopped, staring at him. She was about to say that he was a very respectable person. but his comment on liking her stunned her. She looked at him for a split second, quickly making up her mind about what she should say. She ended up looking in the opposite direction, blushing nearly as read as he was, but you could actually see her blush clearly. She felt as if she could hardly breathe.
"Um-" She said, managing to say something, "I... I like you to." She said finally, finding it true.

"Pity you were just trying to help out." Evan sighed, "I was almost looking forward to letting you see your kidneys."

Blade blinked a few times, then sighed. "I'm sorry, but for some reason I was expecting you to slap me or something for saying something so cheesy," Blade said, scratching the back of his head nervously. Geez, now I feel a lost worse, he thought as he looked in Zara's direction. He smiled shyly then hugged her slightly, his soft fur pressing lightly against her skin.

Sophie nodded then froze when Evan mentioned kidneys. As far as she was concerned, she was not good at things like dissections and amputations, even though she survived an operation in full consciousness. Ok... When he said kidneys, I hope he means in a type of operation, she thought as she smiled and turned to face Neo. "So what was this prank that you were talking about?" Sophie asked Neo, her voice croaking due to a nervous reaction to what Evan said.

"Slap you?" Well, that would have been a good idea to come a moment ago, "Well, I've told you before that I don't like pain, didn't I?" Zara muttered, feeling awkward in his embrace. She hadn't ever been hugged before, and his fur was softer than any blanket she had ever felt. She found herself closing her eyes, hugging him back. Years ago, her friend would have approached her after the fact and would have said the exact same thing he did. Did she really come across that tough and heartless?

"Well, at first it was a harmless plastic wrap over the doorways- then Inu came in and told us that it was too childish. We even got Dr. James to get us the wrap!" Neo laughed, "Then Inu suggested that we attack whoever falls for our prank, and we agreed on the situation." He decided to keep Sheilik out of the equation for her sake, "That was when Jade came up."

"I get it now. So it was mainly Inu's fault this all happened?" Sophie asked, writing what he said at the top of the page. So these two are innocent, well, partly anyway, She thought as she sat down in her chair. "That sums everything up to an extremely simple point. Thank you for your cooperation boys, but now we must punish you for what you've done," She said in an almost sympathetic tone. She's hoping that there would only be one experiment they'll need to cut open.

Blade couldn't help but chuckle a little. "Well, yea. It happened in so many animes that I watched when I was at home, so I thought that some people would do the same in real life," Blade explained, letting go of Zara. He could tell that she enjoyed being covered in his soft fur, but he also knew it would be a certain risk if they hugged for too long. She'd most likely hurt me if I held her for too long, I'm certain, He thought as he took a step back. "Well... Since there's nothing to do around here, I guess I can play a little song or two before I'd most likely be dragged off somewhere to be tested," Blade said, conjuring his guitar again, but this time in a different color and design.

Life grinned at Sophie's comment "Yup, That's the whole story, anything else? Cause I would loooooove to add more to my list of crimes!" He said sarcastically, a challenge to the scientists written in his eyes. Life smirked a tad wider now, his arrogance taking over again and making him belive he could handle anything they threw at him.

Sophie's eye twitched with frustration. "I hope you're the first one to get cut open," Sophie growled, trying to control her temper. She is starting to get annoyed with Inu's attitude and she'd be glad to be the one to cut him open, but only if Evan lets her. "You know, you are the most self-centred brat I have ever met since I was a child, and the last person who gave lip to me had a broken jaw for at least one full year," She threatened, making sure she got her message across to Inu.

"I have dibs on Inu." Jade croaked from the door. She had a flat pissed look on her face and appeared fully awake. She didn't care that her eyes, normally one being a brilliant blue and the other the same green of the stone from which she got her nickname, were a deep, almost blood red. Her eyes were like mood rings of a sort, but only changed color when she was angry. "And you're not stopping me, Evan. The boy WILL see every organ he holds in his body." She turned to the other scientist. "And, Sophie, if you want the full story, I will tell you at a later date. For I was watching the entire thing, and involved as well."

This has only happened to me a few times before, and it was damn well scary to have one of the only things you rely on to interact with your environment damaged. I felt a slight pang of sadness from realization that I didn't ask of the other one's name. I knew that he was the one who assaulted the scientist, so he was likely to receive the worst punishment; Oh f**king well! That's what he gets for nearly killing a scientist! I thought out loud; I guess I agree on that for the most part, if you don't want to be punished you don't do anything that will get you punished. But that doesn't mean you need to be tortured as a punishment. In this situation though sometimes you ought to be glad it was someone else up there instead of you, for I was involved in the notion of the prank as well.
