You have wings on your back because they were Experimenting with you! Emil, you have to remember. You were eight the last time I saw you. I was five. Emil. You're a human avian hybrid, and you're SICK!! Whatever has been going on, you havent been using them and they're about dead!! You're not well, and normal doctors won't be able to help you. Do you want to see what healthy wings look like!?" Ella unfurled her wings and watched Emil's expression. "THESE are what your wings should look like. I have wings, he has wings," Ella pointed to Jay. "And YOU have wings. And until you WAKE UP and see that everyone you know has been lying to you... ... You'll die." Ella swallowed to try and stay calm. "It almost happened all those years ago. When you refused to preform flight tests."

He turned on his heels. "What!?" His shoulders were killing him now. "Erasers...? Scientists...? You creeps aren't making any sense!! I'm normal, got it!? I don't know you!" To save a mutant..." The shock hit him like a train and he just stared at his shoes and hands. "I'm... All I am is a lie." He looked up at Ella and whispered in a shakey voice. "What do I do now...? I mean... No one is after me... Not now, at least."

"Practice using your wings. Seriously. They're all you can really depend on right now. A matter of life and death. Just on your feet, it's impossible to outrun an eraser. They can't get you in the air, unless they're armed. But even the ones with wings are so bulky, they're easy to take down." Aidan sighed and folded his arms across his chest. "You three best be leaving. It's really not safe here. It's more likely that you'll be captured here than anywhere else, just because HQ is located here." He knew it meant pushing Ella away, but he had a feeling that it needed to be done, though his heart didn't completely agree with his decision to let her go like that.

"..." Ella had to make a leader's decision, and it made her nervous. "You keep going. Play along with your everyday life as you have been. You're still Emil, and there's nothing wrong with you. You got that? That's the only way you're safe. We'll work in secret to stregthen your wings and... If Aidan will help us...?" Ella turned to Aidan with a pleading look. "We'll get you healthy again. We'll decide where to go from there when we get there. Okay? Don't you dare say a word, Emil, they're probably already watching you when they can. They don't just forget about escapees." Ella stepped back over to Aidan. "I'm not going to just drop of the face of the earth. You promised. Any time I need you. Well, news flash, now not only to I need you... But the whole flock does," Ella paused. "Can you drive?"

Sighing, Aidan ended up pulling Ella into a tight hug. "But I'll come if that's what you really want. I just hope the others don't really pick on me for what I've been doing for most of my life. But, you guys will need a medic, right? I know a lot more about you than you guys probably know about yourselves. So I guess I would be useful. And I'm doing this for you, Ella. I care about you too much. I mean, you probably don't remember, but I have been watching you while you were in the School. I just didn't recognize your face when I first saw you in that store. Just seeing your face made me question whether I was doing the right thing, working here."
