Emil got part of the way home, when his shoulders started /aching/. He couldn't deal with it. He quickly found an ally to go curl up in and scream, but when he stepped into the shadow he found two people hugging. "O-oh..." He took a step back. "I'm sorry..."

"Ow. I guess I deserve that," Aidan muttered as he lightly touched his cheek. It was already red and tingly from the smack. "My father wants me to be the heir to the company. It's not really anything I can back out of. I'm sure you know how he is, I mean, he's usually the one that conducts the testing and stuff. He won't take no for an answer. It's no wonder my mother divorced. Too bad I can't divorce or do whatever so he wouldn't be my legal guardian anymore." Aidan just held her gently in his arms, sighing. "I'm sorry." He immediately looked up when he heard another voice, and stepped away from Ella. He was just afraid of what the person could be and what they would do.

Trevor was looking through the racks of clothing. He mostly picked out dark colors, just because he liked them. The size was a little large, just to hide the wings and such. "Hmmm..." He just pulled various shirts off the racks and a couple pairs of pants as well, making sure he had enough for at least one new outfit for each of the guys.

"What?" Ella pulled away slightly to see what was going on around her. "WHO IS THAT!?" For all Ella knew, it was someone after her. She instinctually held onto Audan tighter, being scared. She was almost in fight or flight mode, and she didn't like confrontation.

"H-hey... If you wanna screw, that's your business." He held up his hands. "I can find another alley to curl up and--" Before he could help himself, he whimpered in pain and grabbed at his shoulder. "Ugh..." He tried to act normal.

Ella looked closer at the guy. She caught a glimpse of his eyes and gasped slightly.
"You!" Ella ran over and gently touched his back, gasping in delight again. "It is! It us you!" Ella clapped in excitement. "e7CE6F3Q!!! You had the cafe right next to mine, I remember your eyes! Oh my- how old are you now?" Ella's face fell from excited to sad." Where did you go? You promised..."

"Huh? That's not why we're back here," Aidan mumbled, feeling a little embarrassed that he had even brought that sort of thing up at all. He warily glanced at his shoulder, which he assumed was causing the boy pain. He opened his mouth to speak, but Ella scampered right up over to him. With the way she was acting, she was quite excited to see him alive and well. He just stood off to the side and let them have their little reunion.

"I..." He looked at her without recognition. "Who? What are you talking about?" He pulled away from her. "Cage? How long has what been!?" He took a step back. "Look kid, I don't know who you are, but clearly you need help. My name is Emil. I've never been in a cage. And I'm seventeen If you're a lure for some kind of pervert, he can forget it. I'm going home."

Ella gasped when he pulled away from her. "What do...? Look, Emil, you have to understand, you... ... That's right! Emil! Look at me!" Ella grabbed his face and looked right into his eyes. "I want you to focus on me for a moment. Focusing?" Ella paused as his face went blank and she saw a small sign of recognition. "Good. I need you to relax for a moment. Relax." Ella felt him relax under her touch. "Fantastic. Now, don't move." Ella stood up and walked around, carefully lifting his shirt to check his wings. They had always been week, the hormones they had used on him were given a little late and barely taken. Ella gasped. His wings were weak, and sickly. He hadn't been using them at all. This was bad. Very bad.

He turned, tense and ready for a fight. "What's wrong with you!? I'm normal! /Normal/!! Understand!? Those things--my wings--they don't exist. You don't exist! I'm normal. My dad used to work at a lab. I accidentally played with some of the chemicals he brought home and--and that's why I have them!" He denied what his mind was telling him. "Dad will be home in a while. I either need to be home, on my bus, or at school. I'm normal, understand!?"

Aidan just looked away. He kept referring to himself as normal. He was far from it, but it was nice for one of them to have that thought. They could never be normal. "Ella, don't worry about his wings, okay? They're just atrophying. If he uses them more, they'll be strong like yours. But, of course, the choice is his. But, keep in mind, I doubt they'll fall off if you don't use them long enough. No studies have proven that it really happens." He shoved his hands into his pockets and sighed. "But still, keep on yours toes. Erasers and scientists are crawling everywhere in this town."
