Shaye blinked in surprise at her moan, instantly perking up. She was alive! His hope was restored, despite the fact that her tone was one of pain. He knew how she felt.

Shiloh stared across the room, bored. Her mind was blank, and Gretel was asleep.

Alek was pacing in the waiting room. He had had enough of sitting, and he needed something to do that didn't involve listening to people moan on pain or cough up their lungs.

Shiloh closed her eyes, suddenly very tired.

Alek stopped pacing for a second to sigh. He looked over and saw his mate looking very tired. "If you want, you can take the keys to the can and take Gretel home.. I don't mind."

She shook her head. "No, its fine. I don't think that I should be alone, anyways. Shawn could come back. You just never know."

Alek sighed, knowing she was probably right. He went back over to her to sit down. "Yea, that's true."

She groans again, her shoulder burned but not nearly as much as her entire body. Most if the poison has left her system, but some remained, making her body still sluggish.

"I just wish that they would let us see them..." Shiloh said sadly.

Alek nodded glumly. He knew tht the hospital had their reasons, though so he wasn't going to argue.

Shaye smiled weakly with hope. She was alive, and now, so was he. It was a miracle, and he had never been so happy in his life. "Amber, how are you feeling..? It's me, Shaye."
