Alek shrugged. "Well, our blood is the same as regular humans so it shouldn't be a problem since they're just going to do blood tests and put in an IV." He was rather frightened of hospitals, but he was sticking it out for his pack.

Alek kissed her hair, very sure about what they were going to do. This hospital was like the one he had escaped out of.

Alek smiled slightly, his eyes looking distant. "When my parents found out about my Shifting, they went crazy and took me to the local hospital to have me checked out. I was only about 12 when this happened.. The doctors called in scientists, the CDC, everyone, and they all wanted to experiment on me." He shuddered. "So I ran away."
