Jace just shrugged. "We figured you were in a pack somewhere.."

Shaye watched as Jace shrugged, taking Amber's hand. "Well, I haven't got any parents, but the others do. So they wanted to go back to theirs." The girl continued to lead them out of the cleared hallway and down another one.
