Scorpius pouted slightly but stood when she pulled him. "Oh alright. Where to, Doll?" He asked with his playful smirk.

"That's my babe," she said with a smile. She led him out of the common room and slipped her arm through his. "I was thinking the owlry... But where would you like to go? I go to the owlry too much," she commented, leaning her cherry-red head on Scorpius's shoulder. "We should talk on the way there. Good, eh, boyfriend-girlfriend stuff," she said a bit cheekishly but with a sweet smile. She squeezed his arm just a bit.

Scorpius blushed slightly of the mention of boyfriend/girlfriend stuff. "Um, yeah... I guess.." He paused for a moment, staring into the distance. "How about we walk to the Three Broomsticks and grab a butterbeer? Then maybe we could go to Weasley's Wizard Weazes or Honeyduke's?"v He suggested thoughtfully.

"Okay, sounds good. I didn't realize the Three Broomsticks was open this early," she observed. She fished for something to talk about... There wasn't much she could think of. Then she recalled those hats she'd seen in the teen wizard store in Japan over the summer. She'd really liked them, but her parents said that twelve Galleons was too much for a hat, no matter how cute it was. "Have you ever seen those hats? You know, the ones that make you look like a cat or a bear, and they have the little scarves attatched to them that turn into mittens? I just love those," she said hapilly. She didn't normally play the part of a girl around people other than her friends from home.
If it wasn't for Braxlin, treating her the way she treated people now, she may have become a kinder person. But her eldest brother (and sometimes his twin) "trained" her in the "proper Slytherin way" all her life: It was just natural to be a flaunty jerk.
Gidget realized something when they reached the doors that led outside.
"Oh! I shouldn't have said that! We aren't boyfriend and girlfriend, are we? I mean, you haven't asked me out, so we're just friends... Sorry about that," she said, turning to look at him.
She was surprised at how nice she was becoming all of a sudden. It must be because of Scorpius, she thought.

Scorpius shrugged it off. "Don't worry about it, Doll. I believe that everything will happen in its own time. Just wait." He gave her a small, sideways smile that showed his white, straight teeth. "I'm positive they're open. I stopped by several times this early last year." He enjoyed her slightly childish and playful behavior. He thought for a moment and smirked. "What is your favorite muggle creature?"

"Yes, you're right," she said, her face flushing a bit. She brushed a stray lock of her bright red hair off of her face. She heard Scorpius ask her about her favorite animal - non-magical, of course - and she needn't think about it very long before she had her answer. "A Leopard. My Mum and Da promised that we would take a trip to Africa to see one next summer," she replied, "What's your favorite?"

Scorpius bit his bottom gently at her question- He does this when he is deep in thought. "Well, I've only met one non-magical creature. A dog, but that also happens to be my patronus. So I guess a dog is my favorite." He raised an eyebrow at a group of girls wandering by -Hufflepuffs traveling close together and giggling.

"I love dogs, too. We've got an Irish Wolfhound at home named Ottoman. He's lovely; I think you'd like him," she commented. "Sometime, you've got to come look at Imaera's Encyclopedia of Nature, it's really cool. It's got every animal known to Muggle kind in it," she paused, "by the way, Imaera is my sister. She's training to become an Auror." Gidget chuckled.
She turned her head when she heard some girls giggling. The monster that was Gidget reared inside her and she hissed at the girls, "Oy! You bleeders can skivvy off!"
Her face flushed again.

Scorpius nodded, listening intently. "I could never be an auror... Being a Slytherin and a Malfoy,.I'm expected to be bad." He then what shocked when Gidget snapped at the girls. "Easy... They didn't mean any harm. You'd be surprised how often that happens."

"Well, in my family, you don't flush at someone else's... eh, 'more than friend'," she stammered. "Besides, Hufflepuffs have no place frolicking about crushing on Slytherins," she huffed. Then she blushed again, and she felt sorry. "You're right; I'm sorry. I guess the whole 'being nice' thing is just... difficult," she said downcastedly.
