Thresh narrowed his eyes when the escort walked off the stage. He followed in pursuit. He looked at Lily out of the corner of his eyes. He grabbed her hand and squeezed it gently.

Lily followed the escort and Thresh. She squeezed his hand in reply holding back tears which would be sure to spill on they were alone.

Rue sadly smiled ad nodded. Protection? Some may think she would need it being small but she could take care of herself. Yet she was going to cast aside his help. Help alone was great.

Thresh hurried her onto the train then pulled her into a hug. "It'll be fine. We just have to find you a talent. We can hide while the others kill each other." He said.

Cato started walking off the stage before the escort. He felt a nailed hand grab his arm and he snatched it away. "That was terribly rude." She scoffed. He shrugged her off and headed towards the train.

Lily nodded and cried letting the tears fall that wanted to from the second her name was drawn. As the tears fell she wrappe her own arms around him and asked,"You think we can do this?"

Rue turned her head and hadn't realized Cato had starting walking away until the escort spoke. She the turned and followed after him. She was just as eager to be out of here.

"Actually yes. We could hide. I made it to the final four before. The only reason I died was because I killed Cato's girl. We just gotta watch out for the love stories. Even if they are secret." Thresh said stroking her hair.

Cato climbed onto the train and immediately spotted the drinks. He grabbed a bottle and took a swift drink. He clenched his teeth almost throwing the bottle at the wall. Instead he sat down in his chair and placed his face in his hands.

Lily nodded listening to every word he said and savoring it. it was what was going to keep them alive. "Ok but what about the interview?" Lily was extensor nervous yet.

Rue was in too much shook and pain to do anything but plop down in a seat. She sat there in shock still remembering her first games.

Cato zoned off remembering when Clove and him first got on the train. She ignored him for a few days then they began talking about strategy and somehow developed into a friendship. Clove's face popped up before his eyes and the glass bottle shattered in his hand. He cursed under his breath and picked out the pieces of glass. "That poor escort in District 12 already has a drunken tribute and I don't need one too!" Cato heard his escort exclaim taking away the bottles. He looked over at Rue frowning.

"We just need to get them to like you." Thresh said

Rue frowned back at him wondering if he was thinking about their first games. She would of been with Thresh and he with Clove. She remembered back how she had been scared the whole time only talking to him when they talked about strategy with their coach. She frowned kind of missing Thresh but was brought back to the present thinking of how this games would go.

Lily nodded blinking away more tears. They could do this... She could do it. She hoped at least. "Ok."

"Want to go get something to eat?" Thresh asked.

Rue rolled her eyes. Great, Caro was drunk. "I'm fine and at least I'm trying to deal with this! You're getting drunk the second we stepped on the train!"

Lily nodded. Anything was better even though she didn't feel like eating. "Sure."
