Cherry looked about as shocked as Percy. But she was still hurt. "I uh...." She looked at Percy. Then looked away quickly so he wouldn't see her tears. "He's not my boyfriend....he's my friend...." She said slowly, looking at Jake then Percy. She didn't like Jake, she liked Percy! She bit her lip. She set her bowl down. "Thank you for the cherries Percy..." She said before more tears started falling. She started to walk towards her cabin, hugging her arms.

Percy frowned and ran after Cherry. "Hey, no, its alright. I'm not all obsesive like some people. You can still have dude friends. Or boyfriends, if you like them." He smiled and wrapped his arms around her, then started to carry her back to the dining area. "No aphrodite kid is gonna make you not have a decent dinner."

Cherry heard Percy coming. She smiled softly as he said that. When he hugged her and steered her back to the dining area, she turned a light red. "But..." She said as they reached it. "I'm not really that hungry..."

Percy continued to carry her, his arms wrapped around Cherry. "Then atleast sit and mingle. I swear if any girl insults you, I will personally smack her." He smiled and put his chin on the top of her head. "So, what's you're favorite food, other than cherries."

Cherry blushed lightly. "Okay.." She said. He thought of Percy smacking someone made her giggle. "Hm...pepperoni pizza....and saltwater taffy...and blue cupcakes." She said, feeling his chin on her head. She felt warm and bubbly inside, the fire flickering in her eyes
