Hekili shrugged. "I've been in a number of storms. This one isn't as bad as a flash flood storm." He gave her a reassuring smile. "We'll be just fine."

Scare nodded, "All right. I will believe in your experiences."

Hekili smiled and relaxed a bit. He listened to the rain as he chewed his jerky and sipped his water.

Scaer looked down at her paws, yawning slowly.

Hekili looked over at her. "You can sleep if you want. I'll keep watch and wake you if something happens."

"Stupid thunder," Shiya muttered.

Scaer smiled faintly, "Thank you, Hekili," she said, drifting to sleep.

Evan held her, hugging her softly, "It'll go away soon."

Shiya listened to the intense rain, and shrugged. "I'm not so sure..."

Hekili smiled softy and kept watch while she slept. The rain began to thin out once morning came.

Scaer slept peacefully, curled into a loose ball.
