Ryan scanned the area, his expression still unreadable Sis will be sending another letter tomorrow probably, she likes to keep in touch.....I hope mom's doing better by then.
Darkriver circled his legs, she was getting hungry and slightly annoied by the other dogs.

Blitz rubbed the sweat off the back of his neck, he was getting hot just standing there in the sun. Plus the mud he'd fallen in had seeped through his uniform. Isn't this just wonderful? He looked over at Dusk, "You got a beautiful dog." he said to Ryan, admiring her glossy black coat.

"Raised her well" he replied still scanning the area.
Darkriver glanced at the other boy when her name was called then glanced up at Ryan. He gave the slightest of nods and she padded over to Blitz

"Hey there, girl." Blitz murmured softly. He held out his hand for her to sniff it. She had pretty amber eyes. Shadow sat down and stared off into space.

Susannah crashed into Lyra and took off running again the Medic chasing her. She disappeared from sight quickly and ran towards a building she could climb up on.

Personality: Loud, tough, sarcastic, and rude. He thinks he's better than everyone else. Funny and cool around his "buddies", but to lower ranks and people he doesn't like, he can be cruel. Bossy and arrogant. However, he does know the Army very well and (contrary to most people's belief) he is very smart, especially with plans. He never holds back when he sees something he doesn't like, and he doesn't mind giving crushing criticism. Jack can be stubborn and just plain mean, but every once in a while, he'll be in a good mood.
Other: His father is a First Class Sergeant who earned a purple heart and a distinguished serviced award, and his brother was a lance corporal who was killed by enemy fire. When he first went into the Army, he had a dog named Dutch Royal, but during an ambush that nearly killed him she was killed. He carries a photo of her in his pocket.

Other: Delta is very protective of Rick, and sometimes vicious towards other dogs and people. Enjoys biting. Was born into the sentry dog service, but Rick took a liking to him and took him into scout dog training. Very dominate. Most people the Sarge doesn't like, Delta doesn't like either.

Sergeant Hansen walked out of the mess hall. Delta trotted at his side. Suddenly, he turned to see a soldier in the infirmary's white clothing, "HEY YOU!" he barked and ran up to her, "What do you think you're doing? Get back to the medics, private! Are you out of your mind?!"

Susannah suddenly vomited what looked like cereal and then took off. The medic sped after her almost running into Delta but went around him. Moon watched and said quietly,"Ah why not?" She took off after the medic parking like she was a puppy again.

Sergeant Hansen growled and ran after her, "YOU ARE SO DEAD, PRIVATE! That was a direct order! Get back to the infirmary!"

Blitz watched them with wide eyes, but he didn't dare move from his post. He wished Lyra would start training soon.
