Blitz glared at Amanda when she insulted him, and rushed towards her when she held the knife up to Lobo. He jumped and smacked her with his gun, knocking her off her horse. Blitz heard some shouting and saw that some of the other gang was turning back.

((Recap:
Everybody woke up and went to formation. After roll call and such, Rick called Leo, Blitz, Kiara, Kacy, and Susan over. Leo was to lead them in a patrol. They where ordered to go to the mine shaft and see if the gang was still there. If they weren't there, they where to track them down and then report their location to Rick. Right now, they went to the mine shaft. The gang was on their horses and about to leave. But Lobo attacked Amanda, now they are fighting her, and it looks as if there's going to be a fight. If you want, you can pretend Sam was supposed to go with them.
Also, Rick got a letter saying that some new soldiers are coming to Duss and going to be in his platoon. This includes Homicidal's new medic character and a character I'm creating (Homicidal, you can go ahead and start with your character if you want to)
And as a side note to everybody: Keep in mind that Amanda stabbed Rick. She's wanted by the army for assaulting a lieutenant.))

Brian sighed, bouncing around in the Jeep. He was on his way to Fort Duss. He looked out and saw nothing more than sand and a few scarce buildings. "Ugh..." he groaned, swatting a bug from his face. They were quite close now, he knew it.

Ricks squinted. There was a few black dots emerging from the horizon's mirage. Hmmm, already? he thought, getting to his feet. He walked over to the entrance, Delta sticking to his side like a magnet, and waited for them to get to the gates. A few other Lieutenants where also waiting there; not all of the soldiers would go in his platoon. Rick remembered the first time he saw Fort Duss. He couldn't help but smirk when he thought of how disappointed the soldiers must be.

Lobo barked happily and paused to give Blitz a big lick across the face, tail wagging. Leo was cursing the whole time at his bloody vicious dog.

Amanda tried to get up but found she could barely move. Morte growled at Blitz unhappy about him being to close to her owner. Amanda got up and asked Blitz anger in her voice,"Are you suicidal?" She grabbed her knife off the ground and gripped it tightly.

Blitz smiled when Lobo licked his face, but pushed her back towards Leo. Amanda had a knife, and she could kill the dog if she jumped for her again like that. He picked his gun up, "No." he growled. He heard a thunder of hooves and looked up to see that the gang running towards them. He looked at Leo, wondering what they should do. If they ran... the horses would catch up to them. If they stayed... they'd be here in seconds. And Blitz knew that the Army still wanted Amanda. If they managed to bring Amanda back, it'd be like winning the lottery.

Leo cursed and shouted, grabbing Lobo and clipping her leash on "Alright, let's move out. This suicide mission can wait for another time and place." He looked at everyone and smiled. A Jeep was rolling down the nearby dirt road into Fort Duss. He waved his team over and took off toward it.
