Leo looked at Kiara and smiled. "Is everyone ready yet? Seriously, people, how long does it take to load a rifle or grab a leash?" he hollered.

Blitz threw his hands up into the air, grinning, "Hey, I'm ready!" he looked up at the sky and added, "And it's only gonna get hotter the longer this takes."

Leo rolled his eyes playfully and nodded. "Yeah, obviously." he replied.

"Yes, sir." I replied with a smile, ignoring the tugging of the scars. (Is Leo a higher rank than Kiara is? Answer: Yes. XD) I fidgeted with the riffle that was flung over my left shoulder, Ace's leash in my other hand.

Susannah said,"I'm ready and once it took a friend half an hour to find her dog's leash." Moon panted lightly looking extremely bored. She looked at Leo and got up and leaned on Susannah.

Leo sighed and rolled his eyes. "Have your friend tested." he replied to Susan "And, everyone else, let's move outta this frying pan!"

"Like all good strips of bacon do, sir." I responded, smiling harder. I didn't know if my humor would settle well with these troops, since it is Southern humor, but it was worth a shot. Ace stood, his tounge lolling out the side of his mouth, looking as if he was laughing at my joke.

Leo laughed and smiled harder as well. Lobo barked happily and strained at the leash, in the direction of the gate. Leo nodded and began to walk with her.

Blitz followed Leo, doing a funny skip-hop as he did, just because he was bored. He watched with interest as his combat boots made little mini-eruptions of dust. But soon as they left the base's gates, Blitz was serious. But for some reason he felt kind of like his head was full of clouds, like he couldn't quite focus. He had the attention span of a gnat at the moment. Blitz hummed random notes to himself as he marched along with the others. He was aware that other soldiers thought he was a weirdo, but he didn't really care. ((New characters going to come in soon, almost done with form))

Lobo turned her head and looked at Blitz strangely. Leo tugged her leash a bit and she looked forward.
