Nicholas whined and laid down then, "it would take weeks for me to heal..." he said staring at her.

josh frowned "please dont hurt him..."

"As I am aware." Angeil said simply as she tightened the straps on Nicholas as well. "However, I guess I'll only break your arm. That way you'll still be open for other experiments."

[Todd.]

Nicholas winced a little as he was strapped down and nodded though.

Angeil went back into the cabinet to get out the mallet. (Fade to black for younger eyes. She breaks Josh's left arm, as well as Nick's left arm.)

josh screamed in pain as he lay there bleeding badly

[Todd.]

Nicholas had probably screamed at some point, if he had or not he simply couldn't tell, the adrenaline that shot through his body made his senses numb, he laid rather limply there having his breathing slowed down as well and he was actually on the edge of falling uncouscious.

[Season of the Star]

Angeil looked at the two, the struggling, screaming Josh, and the placid, deteriorating Nick. Her head tilted at both of them. Their differences to dealing with pain were very interesting to see. Maybe she'd have to experiment a little on that with a few different subjects at a later time.

It took a few moments for the adrenaline to wear off a little and the pain started acting up and proofing itself existent. He gasped a little then whining softly, he tried to open and close his hand though it didn't work except for a painful spasm, he gritted his teeth then as tears welled up.
