Just throwing out a broad description here; it's sandy. Super sandy. Well, you're saying, I bet, that all beaches are super sadny. But this one, oooh, it's over the top. You can't do a thing in the area outdoors that doesn't involve getting all teary-eyed thanks to the blowing, golden sand. The place is located in the "down-under" continent that we're all familiar with; Australia. That didn't paint a picture in your mind? Here, take a look at this fine shot. You were put under a curse years ago. I mean, you weren't even a year old. How it happened... well... nobody actually knows. That's your job to discover, really. So now, every time you touch water, you transform into a scaly, half-human half-fish creature. No, you can't turn into this at will. And normally you transform within the next thirty three seconds, sometimes much sooner. It's of course sometimes hard to hide, but that's your commitment. Letting a mortal see you would be terrible and a massive disgrace to the underwater population.

Yet, you do choose to live amongst mortals. Not quite as social as that bunch, but you go out. The risk of touching water always hangs over you, but you do your best to ignore it all the time.

As for your looks, hmm? Typically, you always look the exact same under-water as you do on land. Well, minus the, err, giant fin where your legs should be.

You also possess a certain power. Is it heat? Ice? Wind? Fire? Electricity? It could be anything, even weather. You may choose to use them for good... or for evil.
