Doctor Who (version 2.01)

Elizabeth was still rather smug for turning the machine off, and only when she felt the low sense of panic in the area, did the notice.
"Doctor!" She cried, running up to him. Slow. Good. She also noted that his hair was getting a slightly ashy look to it.

I have noticed I don't think Elizabeth has ever properly addressed the doctor as 'dad'}

Gavinia glared at him for a moment longer, then turned away. That was the point, he hadn't known he could do that. The TARDIS seemed to have calmed down. "Now all we have to do is figure how to get back to the Doctor."

The Doctor sonicked the transmitter, locking it. Then he turned back to the cloud. "I do hope that's nothing important," he said, ignoring the stone. "It won't be in working order until you give me my friends!"

Elizabeth smirked. She knew if she was in that position she'd fuming. The doctor was surprisingly calm...but only on the outside. She could tell that on the inside he was nervous. She didn't know why, she wasn't about to intrude into his mind at that moment. Standing beside him, she pulled her pistol from its holster.

Frys sighed, shaking his head. "Um, homing device?"

The shadows hissed. "What if we just wait until you are stone?"

The Doctor's eyes widened for a moment. That would be truly detrimental. He had never been stone, and didn't want to experience it any time soon. His eyes hardened. "Good luck breaking the code." A clever lie.

"Do you think it will work in this condition?" Gavinia said, glancing around. There were still a few fires the TARDIS hadn't put out automatically, and wires and connectors were dangling, destroyed, from the ceiling.

((Yeah, Elizabeth never has called him "dad." Parent-daughter issues, maybe?))

I think it's because she doesn't know him very well, not really. I think therefore it's a bit awkward for her...poor doctor }

Elizabeth decided to play along.
"You shouldn't have told them that!" She cried, putting all of her concern for the doctor into that one false act. She gently reached out with her mind and prodded his lightly.

"It may." Frys said, running a hand through his hair. "It's all we've got."

((True. Poor Elizabeth ))

The Doctor winced as his hair became stone. That hurt. "Now for another little trick," he muttered. He held up Elizabeth's sonic and activated it. If the TARDIS could, she would be here soon. Hopefully with Frys and Gavinia.

"What are you doing?" the cloud hissed.

Gavinia nodded, and approached the console. It looked like a load of nonsense; she had no idea how to pilot this. "Do you know how to fly the TARDIS?"

Elizabeth watched, feeling helpless. She still hovered near the doctors mind. As she saw him activate her sonic, she knew the TARDIS would end up here soon. She just hoped not too late. Elizabeth really wanted to hug the doctor, he looked like he was in pain. Bust she couldn't, she wasn't the affectionate sort.

Perhaps we will get her to call the doctor dad...I wounder how....}

(Near death experience for the Doctor should get Elizabth to say dad XD)

Frys jumped up. "Of course I do, what kind of an idiot do you think I am?" He said, working the levers and buttons. "Oh, nice, little icoming signal. Sonic device of orgin; Elizabeths. And, oh, boost that." He said and the twirled one. "Let's try and fly this back to the Doctor, he obviously needs a taxi."
