Doctor Who (version 2.01)

[Steamturtle]

The Doctor turned suddenly. "Animine, you've been rather quiet," he said, walking over to her. "You usually have at least something to say on the matter. What's wrong?"

"So they could be halfway across the universe," Gavinia said. "10,000 bajillion Kilometres....that's approximately halfway across the universe. How are we going to find them - or them us - if we are that far apart?"

Elizabeth watched, and began pacing. This didn't make any sense and it was starting to annoy her. She wanted to understand what was going on. She didn't want to not understand. It annoyed her, not knowing exactly what was going on.

She looked up at the Doctor, her eyes looking but...not looking. They seemed misty, glassy, and not at all hers. And then she blinked. "Oh."

Frys nodded. "Maybe if we're lucky their closer." He said, tripping over and falling on his face. "Eh."

The Doctor frowned. "Animine?" he said seriously. "What is it? What's wrong?" He looked into her eyes, but her eyes had a glazed-over expression.

Gavinia frowned, her eyebrows furrowed. "For a robot you're not very graceful, are you?" She bent down, holding a hand out to help him.

Animine kept her blank position, not really moving.

Frys nodded. "I agree, I'm not very graceful. Quite the opposite." He said, taking her hand and getting up.

Name: Phillip 'Phil' Lester
Character: Normal, slightly awkward, human being.
Personality: He's always loved lions, and is quite a nice guy. He can get mean, but only when you're evil or mean to him. He normally wears jeans, a shirt, glasses and sometimes a hat.
Age: Early twenties
Species: Plain old human
Tools and accessories: His awkwardness
Good/evil: Whichever side the lions are on.
History: Very normal, grew up with his parents and brother in the north of the UK, moving in with his friend Dan to go to university. He never did anything out of the ordinary, and has never experienced anything that unusual.

Elizabeth peered at Animine. She waved her hand in front of the girls face.

[Steamturtle]

The Doctor sonicked her, his brow furrowing in frustration. "Her motor functions seem to have just...shut down," he said through gritted teeth. His hand tightened around the sonic, making his knuckles white. He was angry now.

"Always thought - " Gavinia was cut off as the ground beneath her feet shook violently. She automatically crouched into a more stable, defensive stance, pulling Frys down with her on instinct.\

A piece of paper fell from Animine's hand, fluttering to the floor, the side that was written on facing down.

Frys yelped, loosing balance and landing on his backside. "6.5 on the rictascale and rising." He commented, looking around.

Yay ^.^ Imma wait a bit before I throw Phil in))

Elizabeth picked the paper up.
"Where do you get a pen from?" She muttered, noticing the doctor's white knuckles. Maybe it'd be best to not talk.

[Steamturtle]

"Great," Gavinia muttered. She looked around, trying to see if there was any place to take cover. The entire area seemed to be covered with gently rolling grassy hills, nothing else. The only cover would be the TARDIS. "We have to get back to the TARDIS," she yelled over the rumbling.

The Doctor ground his teeth, then turned around. His face was straight and solemn, but he said, "What does it say?" Maybe that would give a clue as to what had happened.
