Trinity woke with a start. "Shut up, already," she muttered at her digital alarm clock, slapping it. It stopped its beeping. She glanced at it. "Oh, icicles! It's 5:45!" she exclaimed in alarm. She ran to her closet, pulled on a white dress with lace-trimmed sleeves and an ice-blue robe over it, grabbed all of her supplies and put them into her plaid messenger bag, shouldered her bag, and ran out the door, slamming it hard behind her. She reached into her bag and took out a necklace and earrings, which featured black crystal bats. She saw her sister and ran to catch up with her, panting and yawning. "Gosh I hate Mondays," she muttered.

Alex giggled when she saw her sister run out with an ice blue robe. "You do know, today is picture day. And your going out in a bath robe?" Alex laughed. "I thought you had better taste, sis!" she said. "We're heading to Math first, got all your stuff?" she asked

Alaura read her schedule.It said she had to go to the cafeteria. She followed the map on the back of the schedule and 10 minutes later she found herself at the entrance to a large cafeteria room. She entered and looked around serching for somewhere to sit. She ended up sitting by herself and eventually got board so she pulled out her sketch book and started sketching a memory based sketch of the forest at the back of her house back in Ireland.
