(I'm reading the most horrible part in book nine of Ranger's Apprentice! D,=)
Halt stopped Abelard an shot an arrow into the bushes. Thwack! the range was too close to hear the arrow flying through the air. A growl of rose from where Halt had shot the arrow, but it was brief and stopped.

(Don't get mad at me for saying this: I've not yet read the full series, I'm on the ninth, and I know how it ends.... because I am a spoil-sport when it comes to books....)

Halt nodded his agreement. "But we can't run out of knives."

(( That's okay. I've read the whole series, bbut it was last year, so if I don't remember all the details, sorry. )) Shale nods. "Good point."

Halt turned Abelard back around to face toward the cottage. "Wargals or no, I'm getting me and mug of coffee!" He urged Abelard to a walk.

(( yep. )) Shale laughed and turned Shadow around to follow Abelard.

(I cried when Halt was talking to Horace and Halt thought Horace was Crowley....)
Halt urged Abelard to a steady lope.

(( I know! so sad...... )) Shadow sped up too. Shale knew why Halt was in a hurry, but he didn't understand it. Coffee is disgusting.
