Alex glarred at halt then turned back to Gilan. "If you talk Halt into letting Shale go, I'll do anything." She then carfully chose her next words: "I'll train all day, or clean the entire cottage. Please? I promised." She begged sounding almost like a dog that was asking for scraps.
