Alex jerked her head at the sound of russling outside and familar growling. "Oh no." She said with her eyes widening. Her hand instanly went to her knife pocket and she swore under breathe. "Great time to run out." She said quietly remembering that she left her knife in the meadow.

Gilan dismounted and picked up Alex and put her on Blaze. "Exactly you're weaponless, you shouldn't go running out." he mounted Blaze.

Halt stepped off the verandah and had his longbow in hand.

"Just cause I'm weoponless doesn't mean I can't fight." Alex replied showing Gilan her fist. "BLACK JACK!" She yelled jumping off blaze and running toward her black and white horse. She jumped on riding bare back toward Gilan.

Halt nocked an arrow onto his bow string, and drew back.

"Wargals will break your fist and kill you before you get close." Gilan replied.
