"My name? Lukan Scotland Blackthorn but just call me Luke."

Luke's name is pronounced {Luk-an S-kot-l-and B-lack} and means 'light' in many languages. He was named this because usually in April it's usually dark, cloudy and snowy or rarely warm, bright and sunny and it just so happened that when he was born in April, it was sunny and his mother named him after the rare occurrence. Because he has such an odd name, he prefers to go by the shortened version of Lukan and go by Luke and of coarse, he's a boy.
As stated before, Luke was born in April of 1996; April 25, 1996 to be specific, making him about 16.5 years old. He was born in Littleton, Colorado but moved to Everhllow when he was only 3 years old.

"What do I look like?"

Luke is pretty tall for his age, standing at 5'11'', but there are a few taller than him. Unlike the other boys, he is quite skinny for his height, weighing 130-140lbs, but who else wouldn't try to be skinny if you knew what people thought of you? He has a fairly dark, yet normal skin tone of a medium-tan. His hair is medium-length'd, not too short but not too long and its a natural light brown to a dull auburn color but darkens in the winter time, making the red tone stand out a bit more. Some people would argue that he dyes his hair but really, it's just his genes and drastically changes along with the weather. His eyes are a hazel color, but go more towards the green side rather than brown, but just like his hair, they change to more brown than green when it gets colder out. As for unnatural appearances on his body; he has no piercings, no tattoos {though he's thinking about getting one} and a few scars here and there from simple and stupid mistakes.

"My personality and power have a lot to do with each other.."

We'll start with Luke's power. He has the power or is able to manipulate minds, meaning that he can read your thoughts, feel your emotions and control people's moods very easily. Because he is still young, he doesn't have complete control over his powers and can't always control other people's emotions but it also means that sometimes he has a hard time trying to keep his powers a secret to others. Luke can read almost every person's mind but there are a few that he can't. Why? He isn't sure, though it's only one in a great number of people that he cannot read. As for reading and controlling people's emotions.. he knows whenever someone is sad, mad, happy or any other emotion but can also change their moods if he wants to. For example, if someone were upset and angry, he could make them feel more happy instead of how they were before.
As for personalities, Luke is a very.. how most people would put it.. "quiet, shy and independent". Around his family he is very quiet and prefers to keep to himself, not because he is shy but because he doesn't want to screw up around them and them find out that he's able to read their thoughts and also because he doesn't like knowing what his family is thinking, knowing some of the family drama it could easily cause. As for around other people, he is often quiet because he is reading their thoughts and trying to figure the person out. Then around people that he knows really well and people who know his power, he is very talkative and happy because he doesn't have to try and be careful about slipping something or showing emotion towards their thoughts since they know that he can read their minds. When he's his normal self, he can be crazy and doesn't care what people think of him because he knows that everyone has their own opinions. He is also quite the partier, knowing which girls to ask to dance and which guys to stay away from.

"What do I remember from my past.."

Luke was born in Littleton, Colorado; one of the bigger towns in Colorado and close to even bigger towns. He has a mom, dad and a sister. His sister was also born in Colorado but was born 5 years earlier than him. When he was 2 years old, his father got a promotion in his job but this required moving. After only a few months, they moved to a much smaller town called Everhollow. As he got older, around age 8, he began to hear voices in his head. These voices were always talking and would never be quiet. After a few weeks of this, his mother found it a problem and took him to a mental hospital where he stayed for a few months. While he was here he figured out that these voices in his head were from the people around him.. not them actually thinking but their thoughts. Once he got out of the hospital things weren't the same. He was very quiet and shy around everyone, wanting to be as far away as he could from all of the voices. School wasn't the easiest thing for him to be in but after a while he got use to it. Because of his mind-reading ability, he was always in higher classes than his grade level because he knew more than them. Now he is here, Junior year of high school.

"What fears do I have?"

Luke, just like anyone else, has a fear. This fear is of loss, funerals, hospitals.. anything that has to do with death.
This is a terrible fear of his since he can read minds, he can hear the thoughts of the people dieing and the people around him. He can feel the pain that the person dieing can feel and it kills him to know how much pain this person is in. Even though he has a fear of death and doesn't want to be near it, when he is, he uses his ability to change emotions to help the people, trying to make them happier and less scared.
