Skylar raised his eyebrows, "she chased you... across London? I really hope it was during the day then if she wasn't using her shadows." He watched her with amusement as she started doing cartwheels down the hallway. "Hey, watch out walls might feel like jumping out in front of you again." He grinned. He remembered that sometime during the first year he'd come back from being visible only to Angela that Kage had said Angela had sprained her wrist because she had cartwheeled into a wall, and then blamed it on the wall jumping out in front of her. At least if a wall did jump in front of her and she sprained something, it wouldn't exactly matter.

Kage held the dagger for a moment before sitting it down next to her and looked at Rachel as she came and sat down next to her. When she was passed the sheet she looked at it quietly, nothing passing over her expression as she read it. The only thing that showed that she didn't like what she had read was that her free hand had tightened into a fist. She blinked as she heard Aiden yelling and looked out at the window at them before they appeared on the floor of the infirmary.

"We don't know, just that he fell unconscious and won't wake up. He has a fever and the vein on his neck turned silver along with flecks of silver in his eyes." Kage replied as she watched Aiden, "Kurai said it had happened before."

"You guys were on a hunting trip." Kurai mumbled and looked at Rachel as she stabbed her dad with a needle to get blood, shadows appearing on his arm when the angel was done as Kage moved them there. She looked back to Rachel as she spoke to her and gave a small nod, "ok, and thank you for telling me otherwise you probably would have had a dagger in you in return, and it wouldn't be my fault."

"To be fair I did probably do something annoying..." Angela muttered, mostly to the floor as she did another cartwheel. "Oh shush, I was sixteen, walls pick on sixteen year olds." She grinned, "Anyway, I heal up pretty brilliantly now so I'll be fine." She managed to cartwheel through the infirmary doors straight into Riley and both of them ended up in a heap on the floor at that point.

Aiden glanced over at Kurai after kissing Jacob's forehead. "And you didn't tell us?" Aiden touched his neck as he felt the shadows wrap around his throat, before giving a quick thanks to Kage. "And don't stick people with daggers, it's not a good habit to get into." He glanced over at his sister and brother and would have given a smile - and probably joined in - had it not been for Jacob's condition.

"Stick me with a dagger young Thorn and I will cast angelic magic on you that will turn you into a fluffy kitten." Rachel muttered, rummaging through the sheets.

"Not helping there Rachel..." Aiden muttered.

Skylar chuckled, "that's probably also the reason she was chasing you." He grinned, "they didn't pick on Kage, did they?" He gave a soft chuckle and watched as she cartwheeled through the infirmary door and into one of her brothers. He looked at him curiously for a moment, wondering why Riley was at the school. 'Brought Kage here?' He thought and shrugged as he floated lazily into the infirmary and looked around. A frown appeared on his expression, "Family... reunion?" He raised his eyebrows as he saw the others, fairly confused. "What's going on...?" He'd been expecting Kage for some reason, but not everyone else.

"I'm sorry." Kurai mumbled with a small shake of her head as she looked down at the ground. She glanced back up at her dad, "I'm in that habbit." SHe mumbled and looked over to the door as she saw Angela come in and crash into Riley. "it wouldn't be my fault, it's a reflex." She put her hands up in a surrender gesture and inwardly was curious if Rachel would actually turn her into a fluffy kitten. It would probably be amusing... and annoying at the same time.

Kage turned and looked at Skylar when he asked the question and with a quiet sigh she repeated what she had just told Aiden, minus Kurai not telling them. That wouldn't matter to him. Skylar just looked at his sister for a moment before walking over, "I'm going to steal you for a moment..." He took her wrist lightly and ignored the complaint as he pulled her up and towards the doors. "Skylar. Sky. Sky. Why are you stealing me? Skylar." He just shook his head and she pulled a face. Before he took her out into the corridor the paper in her hand disappeared as shadows wrapped around it and it appeared hanging in the air in front of Aiden.

Aiden moved over to Kurai's side and wrapped his arms around her before sitting down next to her. With Aiden you only got three types of hugs, a hello one, a goodbye one, and an I'm worried about my family hug. Hugging Kurai now would fit into the later category. He ran his fingers through her hair as he took the piece of paper from thin air and attempted to read what it said - to no avail since he was useless when it came to charts and graphs and work. He folded it up and slipped it into his pocket so he could hand it Kage when she was back. After a few moments Aiden pulled back a bit, letting Kurai go free from the hug.

Angela watched as her husband ran off with Kage, and slowly untangled herself from her brother. The pair stumbled to their feet and Riley disappeared after muttering something about making sure that Mason didn't set the fireworks off again. Angela worried about her brothers quiet a bit, but mostly because they were both idiots. She moved over to the wall and lent against it, keeping out of the way for now.

Kurai had been distracted with watching her unconscious brother and didn't notice Aiden move over to her until he had sat down next to her. It took a moment for her to register along with that that he had given her a hug. She smiled faintly and then leaned on him. She was tempted to stare at Jacob with a death stare with a hope that for some reason, in some part of his mind, that she was staring at him in the way she did before she whacked him he would wake up. She just grumbled at herself inwardly to not be stupid and instead looked at him quietly.

Several minutes passed before Skylar floated in, but it was just him. "Someone needs to convince Kage to come out of her shadows. She decided to disappear on me." He rubbed the mark on his chest as he spoke, going over to Angela, "No idea where she went either." He could usually feel some type of shifting in the shadows; even though he couldn't control shadows he had some link with them. Maybe it was because Kage was his sister? He honestly didn't know. He looked at Aiden, "oh and she won't admit it, but she's going into shock. Probably why she disappeared."

Aiden sighed quietly and stood up, kissing Kurai's forehead before making his way over to the door that Skylar had just walked through. He made his way to the shadowiest corner and sat down just outside the shadows, "Kage..." He whispered quietly, "Come out please?"

Angela kissed Skylar's cheek and then went back to worrying about Jacob. "What did you say to Kage? If you upset her I will consider pouring juice on your head." Angela sighed quietly and closed her eyes tiredly before resting her head on Skylar's shoulder, "Love you..."

Kage was sitting on the ground in her shadows, her expression quiet, nothing on it. With a soft sigh, she rubbed her face and then a hand absently played with the black ring attached to the chain around her neck, her finger tracing the Celtic knots in the metal. She blinked in surprise as she heard Aiden and looked up to see him sitting in front of her. She was quiet for a while, watching him before she silently came out of her shadows, she shadows that she had been hiding in spread back out. She remained quiet, still sat on the ground and looked at Aiden.

"I don't think I did the upsetting." Skylar said, "so no juice on the head. I just asked her what was bothering her besides Jacob being unconscious since I knew it was something else. She just mumbled stuff after she stopped denying it wasn't anything besides that, something about Alucard, and then just disappeared." He kissed her head when she leaned it on his shoulder and lightly rested his head on hers, "love you too."

Aiden gave Kage a faint smile when she appeared again, and very gently pulled her into a hug, wrapping his arms around her and holding her against his chest. "He'll be fine... Our family is pretty good at being okay..." If Kage was going into shock like her brother had said, Aiden guessed the best thing to do would be to just keep saying it would all turn out alright. He kissed her cheek and sighed quietly. "And the twins have hospitalized themselves on many occasions, they always bounce back as if someone attached them to a bungee cord."

Angela frowned slightly, "Alucard...? Why is she worried about that vampire? Does she think he hurt Jacob in some way?" Angela moved away slightly and glanced over at the sleeping Jacob. "Maybe we should call Laurie over here to see if she can do something...?"

Kage didn't give any resistance as Aiden pulled her to him, and closed her eyes with a quiet sigh as she rested against him. She listened to him quietly and normally would have grinned, but not even the faintest smile appeared. It was true, they always somehow managed to be fine. "I don't know Aiden." She said quietly finally, "knowing you you probably didn't get the paper I gave you." She fell quiet again for a longer time, "the poison that Alucard had poisoned me with... You know how it never disappeared? Well apparently it passed down to Jacob, I don't know about Kurai but it passed to Jacob... I have no idea how its effecting him, whether it will have the same it had on me, or something totally different."

Skylar shrugged, "I honestly don't know. I mean, it's obvious why she doesn't like him, he killed me and our dad and then poisoned her... But I didn't understand what the content of his name." He looked at Jacob as well quietly with a small frown. "Maybe, that might be a good idea."

Aiden pulled the paper from his pocket and waved it in front of her nose, "Hey I'm not that disorganized." He put the paper on Kage's lap and kissed her shoulder blade when the poison was mentioned, it had taken a while to get Kage to tell him about the poison an he'd been a little shocked about it when she had. "Well if this has happened before...Why don't we ask Kurai how she managed to wake him up last time. If you've passed the poison down, it's not your fault, and at least we know what is causing this."

Angela nodded and rested her head on Skylar's shoulder again, "If that vampire dares threaten our family I swear I will rip his head off. I'll call Laurie." Angela slipped her phone out of her pocket and lent against Skylar as she called Laurie and pressed the phone to her ear.

'Councilor Cross is unavailable. This is Deryn Cross speaking.'

"Deryn. Why is Laurie not there? Oh and can you come to Chellia?"

'She's asleep. And I guess I can. Are your brothers giving lifts?'

"More than likely. Follow the noise, you're likely to find them quicker."
