Angela kissed her husband's cheek and grinned, "Ah, you can come and sit in my class then I can kiss you and it would be even more funny. All the students would be freaked out." She passed him the remainder of her coffee, there was about half a mug or so, when he started complaining about having drunk all of his. She frowned a little and nodded, "Aye, Kage left. Why where is she?"

Riley glanced at Kurai and grinned slightly, "Ah, what? You can walk? I didn't think you'd developed legs?" He gently nudged Cat with a shoulder, "She can walk, did you know that?" He ducked as he went through the doorway and frowned as he headed over to the bed Jacob was on earlier.

Skylar laughed, "very freaked out I'd say." He looked at the mug of coffee Angela had passed to him and frowned at it. "It's yours. I appreciate it, but it's yours." He smiled faintly and handed the mug back to her and kissed her forehead.

He was quiet with a small frown on his expression as he rubbed the spot on his chest over his heart where a black rune mark was on his skin, the one keeping him visible to anyone and anchored on Earth. "I don't know." he murmured, "I felt her whip though, energy released from it when she used her shadows. It stopped and I can't feel it anymore."

Angela smiled faintly and took the mug back, sipping at it slowly as she watched her husband. "Problem with your mark honey?" She kissed his cheek and put her hand over his. "Where is Kage though? Did you manage to catch that?" She frowned at him, wondering why Kage was close enough for Skylar to feel her presence. "Shall we go search for her? There must be a reason she's back here so soon?"

"Just feels all funny, that's all." Skylar replied and turned his hand to take hers, kissing her hand and then lowered their hands. He thought a moment, rubbing the mark with his opposite hand, "probably... in that general direction? Maybe? Possibly?" He pointed down the corridor with his free hand and then waved it around to say it was in that area. He nodded then, "yeah, I think that's a good idea. I want to know why she's back so soon."

Kurai gave a small laugh, rolling her eyes, "dork." She said with a playful tone as she grinned. "I'm pretty sure Cat knew I can walk." When they went through the doorway, she ducked her head too to avoid hitting it. She frowned slightly when she didn't see her mother and glanced towards the office in the infirmary, wondering if she had gone in there with Rachel or something. She nudged Riley with her foot, "will you put me down? I wanna see if I threaten to poke Jacob with a dagger if he'll wake up this time."

Angela nodded and started to head in 'That General Direction', still holding onto Skylar's hand and gently pulling him along after her. "Probably just the kids having forgotten something eh? I used to be brilliant at forgetting things." She doubted it was that though, and was desperately hoping it was at the same time. She didn't want Kurai and Jacob to have started acting like Mason and Riley did and that be the reason for being called in.

"You call me a dork Kurai Thorn?" Riley asked, glancing up at her. "Of course I shall put you down." Somehow he managed to change the way he was holding her rather suddenly, and he ended up holding her by her ankles and frowning at her before setting her gently down next to her brother. "You can threaten him, but if I see you stick him with a dagger, I'll stick two daggers in you on his behalf. Understood?"

Skylar chuckled quietly with the faintest of a smile, "possibly, or managing to cause some... serious trouble already. It seems to run in the family." As he walked with his wife, like her, he doubted it highly as well, whether it be trouble or forgetting things and the sudden surge from the whip and even feeling shadows move also told a different thing. He didn't feel that much anymore since he could depend on creating his own energy rather then the whip restoring the energy he used to loose way to quickly.

"What? Psh, no. You're hearing things." Kurai managed to hide a grin when he glanced up at her and when he looked away, the serious expression broke into a grin. It didn't last long before she yelped in surprise when she was suddenly upside down. "Uncle Riley...." She scowled and simply crossed her arms, looking at him and keeping the scowl until he put her back on her feet. "Why would I stab... by sick brother... with a dagger...? I'm not that mean, but he usually wakes up when I threaten it..." She trailed off and sighed, giving a small nod, "yeah understood..." She turned to look at Jacob and poked him in the shoulder gently, and indeed went on with the threat. When he didn't make any motion that he even heard her, she pulled a pout face and crossed her arms. She yelped as someone suddenly gave her a hug. She looked up to see it was Kage, who had appeared out of shadows. "You scared. The crap out of me."

Kage smiled just slightly with amusement and kissed the top of her daughter's head, "I'm fairly good at that."

"Do they know what's wrong?"

Kage shook her head with a soft sigh, "no, not yet, though Rachel is doing blood tests and stuff." She then quieted her voice, "don't keep things that happen like this from me, alright?"

Kurai blinked in surprise, then gave a small nod. Kage kissed her head again before letting her go from the hug.

Angela kissed Skylar's cheek and skipped ahead of him with a faint grin. "Hey honey, relax, I'm sure it's nothing bad. And even if it is, our family has a knack of getting through things a if we were made to be in trouble all the time. Let's go find Kage and prod her with a stick eh? If she is in trouble, we'll save her and then prod her with the same stick."

Riley took a seat next to Jacob's bed and put his feet up as he frowned at the sleeping demon hunter. "We could threaten him with a tank Kurai." Riley glanced at Kage, "Do you want me to bring my brother over here? By that I mean Aiden. It would be a bit ridiculous for me to bring Mason here... Actually it would be impossible to get him from his workshop..."

Skylar smiled faintly and watched her as she skipped ahead of him. He chuckled softly, "well you got that right." he murmured when she said their family had a knack of getting through things." He smiled faintly, "prod her with the stick? I think you can do the prodding, she already wants to hit me for earlier." He was quiet as he walked, occasionally rubbing the mark on his chest and then frowned as he realized that where they were heading, there weren't any important rooms Kage would be in besides the infirmary.

Kurai giggles quietly and nodded, "yup probably." She moved to sit on the sill of the window by Jacob's bed, and propped a foot up lightly on the back of Riley's chair, which was in reach. Kage was quiet a moment as she sat back down on the edge of Jacob's bed as she thought. It took a moment before she replied with a small nod, "probably a good idea... or at least for him to know..." Knowing Aiden and how he took counciling seriously, he probably wasn't doing much besides filling up the island with balloons.

Angela grinned, "Ah, she can't catch me to hit me back. We proved that when she chased me across London that time... I actually forget what I did to wind her up but it was amusing." She stopped for a moment before she started to do cartwheels down the hallway. She'd guessed too that the location of this trip would be the infirmary, and started to make her way there.

"I'll go and fetch him then." Riley nodded and passed Kage a dagger before he disappeared.

Rachel didn't take long to get back, sitting down next to Kage and opening the file up in her lap as she started to go through the results of the tests. "Kage, this sheet..." She mumbled as she passed the hunter a sheet, "Is blood tests, the top ones are Jacob's the bottom ones are yours..."

"WRONG SIDE!" Aiden yelled from outside the window, before he and Riley appeared flat on the floor looking like they had been about to die. "He teleported us outside." Aiden gave a quick explanation as he stumbled up from the floor and moved over to Jacob's bed, "What happened...?"

"Perfect timing!" Rachel smiled at Aiden and rather expertly managed to get a syringe full of blood from his arm before he could even move. She passed it to another nurse and then sat back next to Kage. "They'll go check his blood too. Kurai I might stab you with a needle too."
